In this thesis, MTT assay is adopted to study three different kinds of ethoxylate fatty alcohol and N, N-dialkyl urea compounds on CHO cells and HeLa cells. The results indicate that the growth inhibition effects of ethoxylate fatty alcohol both on CHO cells and HeLa cells gradually decreased as concentration increased. The concentration of AEO5, AEO9, AEO15 which has serious growth inhibition effects both on CHO cells and HeLa cells is between 0.005 ~0.025mg/mL, 0.005 ~0.05mg/mL, 0.01 ~0.075mg/mL. AEO5,AEO9,AEO15 have different inhibiting effects both on CHO cells and HeLa cells growth, the growth inhibition effects of fatty alcohol ethoxylates both on CHO cells and HeLa cells gradually decrease as the numbers of EO increase. The growth inhibition effects of N, N-dialkyl urea compounds both on CHO cells and HeLa cells gradually decreased as concentration increased. The concentration of N, N-diethyl urea and N, N-dipropyl urea which has serious growth inhibition effects on CHO cells is between 2.5~10mg/mL. When the concentration is more than 10mg/mL,inhibition effects can hardly be seen. The growth inhibition effects of N, N-dialkyl urea compounds both on CHO cells and HeLa cells gradually decreased with concentration increased. Both N, N-diethyl urea and N, N-dipropyl urea have serious inhibitiing effects on growth of CHO cells when urea concentrations are over 2.5mg/mL.When the concentration is higher than 10mg/mL. N, N-diethyl urea has serious inhibiting effect on Hela cells growth when the concentration is over 5mg/mL. N, N-dipropyl urea has the effect when the concentration over 7.5mg/mL. N, N-diethyl urea and N, N-dipropyl urea have very similar inhibiting effects on CHO cells growth, but a little difference on HeLa cells.
