Slaughterhouse wastewater has a large proportion in the industry wastewater,the pollution is scatter and most of the pollutant is organic,the amount is small and density change a lot,so it is not easy to deal with. This context introduce the origin,quality and quantity of slaughterhouse wastewater,several aboard process flow-path,efficiency and effluent quality respective;popularly internal process flow-path,we summarize the development of treatment technology and application in slaughterhouse wastewater for decades,we discuss the feature of biology process and natural ecological process and chemical process,application of combination process,we also analogy the demands of influent quality efficiency,cost,virtues and limits.The experiment studied on the slaughterhouse wastewater of Ji Lin Hong Da animal husbandry company Ltd.and monitored the slaughterhouse wastewater from a workshop of De Hui De Da chicken processing factory which has the same production process.We took samples every four hours everyday and we monitored 6 samples and took the average as slaughterhouse wastewater quality parameter.Then we decided two process flow-paths according to quality and quantity and temperature and etc.Then we choosed the best of the two process flow-path..The flow diagram of chicken processing waste water treatment is below:sedimentation and oil separation tank—floatation tank—Hydrolysis and Acidification Tank—contact oxidation tank—disinfecting tank.The cost of the treatment is 1.25yuan/m~3.Then part of the effluent is retreated in reuse of reclaimed water system,the flow diagram is below:sand filtration tank—advanced floatation tank—hydrogen peroxide liquor disinfecting tank,we also removal exorbitant organics and enhance the amount of Do of the wastewater.The cost of the reclaimed water system treatment is 0.80yuan/m~3.The total cost is 2.05yuan/m~3.Then we can use the effluent again.Cost of the reclaimed water treatment is much lower than the industry water.We can reduce enterprise's production cost and provide plans for saving water through it.We should popularize the process to treat slaughterhouse wastewater because the process can promote the development of agriculture and aquaculture,it is ecological balance engineering and also sustainable development engineering.The experience of the treatment about slaughterhouse wastewater is a good reference to the treatment of civil and aquaculture feces and have a high social value.
