The Assessment Of The Oasis Ecosystem Services Evaluation

The oasis ecosystem services evaluation refer to the natural environment qualifications and their utility which formed as the interactive ecological course between the ecological subsystems of oasis to keep human survival. It change as the type, area and quality's change of the ecosystems in this area, and effectively oppose the aridly climate, maintain stability and development of oasis while offering the agricultural and forest products needed for economic development of human society.Influenced of climate and mankind activity, the ecological environment problem faced to oasis which as the important area that mankind depend on for existence is outstanding day by day.The text is based on the theory and technique of ecological service system, through the analysis of the oasis ecological environment characteristic and ecosystem view type, constructed the assessment index system of the oasis ecosystem service function evaluation. The assessment method of the oasis ecosystem services evaluation was confirmed according to ecological economics and environmental economics principles. Regarded the Minqin oasis in Gansu Province as the research object, the products service, regulate service, support service, culture service and idiographic function value were assessed in 1980 and 2005 of this area under the technical support of remote sensing (RS) and geographical information system (GIS).The result shows that farmland have the biggest total service value in view type of Minqin oasis ecosystem, the unit area's forest land and meadow have the superiority environmental service. The total service value of ecosystem is bigger compare to GDP, but GDP growth rate is obviously higher than ecological value. The total service value of ecosystem increased from 1980 to 2005 and the indirect economic worth (environmental service value) have larger percentage, but the value presents the downward trend. It indicated that the environmental service have important impact on ecological maintaining and the increase of products service value is based on the reduces of environmental service value.Result to assessment above was reason for that the short of water resource, lag of agricultural production mode and distemperedness of national economic accounting system. Finally, proposed the protect countermeasure of oasis ecosystem from construction of ecological environment, products and industrial structure adjustment, ecosystem management policy.The assessment system of the oasis ecosystem services evaluation was set up by this study, offered basic data for implement continuable development in the oasis, and offered the typical case for relevant research in the future.
