MenTouGou district locates in the west outskirt of Beijing city. It is the west gate of Beijing. In this area the altitude continuously increases from southeast to northwest. 97% of the whole area is mountanious region, and just 3% of this area is flat.This research aims to provide a comprehensive theoretical and technological approach to modeling and simulating the restoration process of natural vegetable by studying the population dynamics and species diversity of plant community, the niche of Quercus hootungensis population and main associated species. The main results summarized as following:1. The most important species, that have effects on reclamation of wasteland of mining areas is soil effectual depth. And then is soil organism. Other species ordinal is annual rainfall, soil destroy extent, and reclaim difficulty, soil quality, soil moisture, gradient, soil pH, and soil poisonous element, irrigational condition.2. Species composition is simple in LongFeng mountain. The species is lack and most part of plant is little. Now the species at the stage have progressive and regressive succession. The composition of species and structure of community between in mine spoils and secondary vegetable in LongFeng mountain are no obvious difference.3. The niche breadth sequences of main species population in Quercus hootungensis community are as follows: Quercus hootungensis > Populus davidiana > Vitexnegundo vax > Hypophae rhamnaides> Lespedeza bicolor > Betula dahurica > Acer truncatum > Juglans mandshurica. The species which appear in each resource position are Quercus hootungensis and Populus davidiana. At present, in Quercus hootungensis community, Quercus hootungensis shares the resources with the other main associated species in some extent.4. It is an effective measure to improve the soil in wasteland of mining areas by recovering with innocuity remnant soil of city not only improving the condition for revagetable by adding organic matter and promoting erosion durability but also providing an way dealing with remnant soil of city.
