Part I : The optical activity of polymer containing azobenzene side chain and their optical applicationRecent progress in photochromism of polymer containing azobenzene side chain was reviewed in this paper. This review concentrates on the types of polymer system and their photoisomerization, and its potential application as optical data storage. Investigations of photochromism, nonlinear optical properties and optical anisotropic are associated with probable applications for optical data storage, nonlinear optical materials, liquid crystal polymer, photoelectric devices, photoregulation of bioactivity of biomolecule and nanometer technology.Part II Studies on the conditions of Fermentation of Pullulan by Aureobasidiun pullulansAureobasidium pullulans release a melanin-like black pigment which make pullulan difficult to purify during the cultivation. Aureobasidium pullulans Strains AF187 is a pigment-free mutant which was isolated from nature.The culture conditions were conducted by design of single factor and orthogonal experiments.The optimized culture conditions were as follows: 28℃,150r/min,initial pH=6.5,Sucrose 70g/L,Yeast extract 10g/L,KH2PO4 8.0g/L,MgSO4 7H2O 1.0g/L,NaOH 1.0g/L,(NH4)2SO4 0.04g/L,60h.Pullulan was purified by the procedure including Savage method , DEAE-cellulosecolumn chromatograph. The structure of the polysaccharide purified has been determinated by the methods of'H NMR ,FTIR,GPC, SEMPart III: The synthesis and structural characterization of containing azobenzene PullulanThe graft copolymerization of vinyl monomers and Pullulan were carried out using Ce(NH4)2(NO3)2 as initiation system, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfate as emulsifier. The effects of concentration of vinyl monomer concentration, reaction temperature, reaction period have been investigated. When the concentration ofinitiator was 1.25 X 10-3mol/L the monomer concentration was 4g/L the reaction temperature and period choosed as 70'C and 3h, respectively. The G% and GE% were 78% and 52% respectively. Which is best during the process in the range studied. The evidence and characterization of Pullulan copolymers has been researched by means of FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), thermograrimetry analysis (TGA)Part IV: The photoisomerization behavior of copolymers Pullulan and vinyl monomer in solutionsThe photoisomerization of 20 copolymers of vinyl monomer and Pullulan were investigated in solutions and films. The effects of spatial hindrances solvents free volume were investigated. The result showed that the structure of graft copolymers exhibit a marked influence on photoisomerization. The smaller of the spatial hindrance is, the easier the photoisomerization will be, and copolymers manifest better photoisomerization than their corresponding monomers, In addition, para-acrolyloxy substitution exhibits good photoisomerization, while ortho-acroloyloxy substitution appears to take place photochromic hindrance. Part V: Application of Molecular Properties to the conformational analysis of trehaloseMolecular Properties can be used for calculation of Molecular Mechanics,Molecular Dynamics and Quantum Mechanics to a series of molecular model.In this paper,the conformation of trehalose had been studied by calculation of Mol.Dynamics in MP.The parameters of possible optimum structure of trehalose are in good accordance with the experimental data.The software MP1.0 had been proved to be friendly reliably available in practice.
