Based on the synthesizing method of the general titanate coupling agents ,a new kind of titanate coupling agents was synthesized with tetraisopropyl titanate ,acryl acid ,alkyl pyrophosphate and lactic acid as raw materials in this paper .According to a series of experiments , the three technological parameters including materials' orders , time and temperature during synthesizing process were established . Physical and chemical characters of the titanate coupling were determined with FTIR spectroscopy .Differential thermal analyzer and Abbe' s refractometer. The FTIR spectroscopy and XPS spectroscopy were used to study the interaction between titanate coupling agent and inorganic fillers such as CaCO3 , wollastonite and TiO2 .The results of contact angle measurement showed that the molecules of titanate arrange as long organic chain pointing out on filler' s surface till they cover the filler ' s surface with monolayer and that the opposite arrangement leads to regular change of pretreated filler' s surface energy and its disperse ratio . At the same time , these results also suggested that the amount of titanate coupling agent was relative to filler' s particle diameter and density scale . Finally, we analyzed the binding energy between titanate coupling agent and inorganic filler in different temperatures by microcalorimeter . These results suggest that when temperature is less than 50# , the interactions between titanate coupling agents and fillers are the physical interactions ; on the other hand , when temperature is more than 50# , the interactions between titanate coupling agents and fillers are chemical interactions . compared with binding energies in different temperature ,we found that the interaction between titanate coupling agent and filler is covalent bond.
