The nutritional therapy is a treasure of China. The nutritional therapy developed from food maintenance. Food maintenance means maintenancing health with food. This concept proposed most early by "The Medical Classic of the HuangDi". Tang Dynasty medicine Sun Simiao based on "Nei Jing", unified his many years medical experience of keeping in good health, and put forward the nutritional therapy concept. He raises the nutritional therapy food from secondary position to most important position, namely from food by along with it to first by the nutritional therapy. The nutritional therapy, is treats disease by the diet. The nutritional therapy is further to extend with the supplement of food maintenance.
