The paper consists of two parts.The main part introduces the databaseconstruction and data-mining of formulae of different ages for promotingblood circulation to remove stasis.According to the theory and the most important subject topic that drugsand formulae are related to the diseases and syndrome, We select formulaefor promoting blood circulation to remove stasis and Formulae Dictionary ofTCM is the main information of the formulae database. With the key pointsof formula date, disease or syndrome and their element factors,We dealtwith the original data and set up the database of formulae of the differentages for promoting blood circulation to remove stasis. We select informationincluding four natures and five flavors,channel tropism,toxicity andclassification based on Chinese Materia Medica and Science of Chinesemateria medica,then set up a database of Chinese medicinal materials.Webuilt the fumulae book database.We institute a series of standardization ducuments aboutdisease,syndrome,symptom according to Terms of diagnostics of traditionalChinese medicine (the national standard of the People's Republic of China),Chinese Terms in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, Differentialdiagnosis of TCM symptoms,Consice dictionary of TCM diseases andsyndromes.The standardization documents about Chinese medicine is setup according to Chinese Materia Medica, Dictionary of name of Chinesemedicinal materials, Synonym dictionary of Chinese medicinalmaterials.Then data cleaning is based on these standardization documents.Based on the thought that history and logic,literature information andmathematical statistics are combined tightly, we use the data-miningtechnology such as frequent item set,association rules,cluster analysis todata processing.The analyzing contents include of the law of formularelated to syndrome, compatibility of drug-match, construction offormulation and system of formulae classification,origin and development ofthe forumulae for promoting blood circulation to remove stasis.The paperexplores in methodology and establishs good foundation for construction adata-mining system of TCM formulae of different ages.The appendix is about a series of standardization document and themain reference books. The paper is an exploration of textual research on TCM formulae ofdifferent ages in methodology with the use of modern computingtechnology. All this standardization document can offer reference for thefuture information research of Chinese medicine.The database anddata-mining provide new research pattern of modern reseach of TCMformulae.Cluster analysis of formulae provides a new method ofclassification of TCM formulae.The results of data-mining offer reference forfuture clinical and scientific research of TCM.
