Objective: To study the differently expressed genes of the effect of BiYuanShu liquid on acute suppurative sinusitis (ARS) of rat model by gene microarrays, to explore its molecular mechanism.Methed: (1) We depart adult rats as normal group, ARS model group and cure group at random. ARS model group was made by Y. Gel's method ,at same time cure group treated by BiYuanShu liquid every day. After one week, the rat were sacrified, we verify whether the model is correctly with inflammation gene and etc, We harvested their livers to extract mRNA to reverse transcription for cDNA microarray analyses. For the microarray analyses 5705 cDNA were selected to made microarray. cDNA extracted from three group rats were labeled with fluorescence substance respectively. These probes were hybridized with the cDNA microarrays, scanned, and analyzed.Result: There are 76 genes expression were clearly changed between nomal group and ARS model group, and 95 genes differently expressed between ARS model group and cure group by BiYuanShu liquid.
