The foreign trade development pattern is the way of a country or an area when economy develops to a certain stage to optimize the mix of imports and exports, to raise the social economic efficiency and to enhance the capacity for sustainable development with the constraints on resources and environment are rising above that implementing foreign trade growth steadily given the particular international economic environment.With the change of development environment both in domestic and abroad,timely change the pattern of foreign trade development is the inevitable choice of realizing the sustainable development of regional foreign trade.Now Xinjiang‘s foreign trade development is in the situation of increased competition in Central Asia and neighboring countries, and the process of transformation of Xinjiang‘s economic development pattern has been slow.Accelerating transformation of the pattern of foreign trade development of Xinjiang will undoubtedly become the best way to promote the sustainable development of Xinjiang‘s foreign trade, and then to enhance the strategic position in the national‘s west open strategic.This paper discusses how to accelerate the transformation of Xinjiang‘s foreign trade development pattern in detail from the following eight chapters using the theories and research methods of international economics, industrial economics, regional economics and other disciplines combined with the special situation of the Xinjiang foreign trade development. Moreover, with the Xinjiang foreign trade export commodity quality improvement and diversification of international market development patternand competition pattern, Xinjiang’s foreign trade competitiveness level has been the ascension of the whole. At the same time,a rapid growth of regional economy and the improvement of social benefits was brought about by the corresponding chang.Not only that, the reduction of energy consumption per each unit of export value andreduction ofwastewater and solid waste discharge per unit of local product exportmakes the foreign trade do well in the energy saving and environmental benefits.Second, since the financial crisis, foreign trade development circumstances is always changing. Although a positive adjustment is made in the Xinjiang‘s foreign trade development pattern, but overall, each link in foreign trade development pattern is not in accordance with the requirement under new circumstance. This can be seen most clearly in extensiveresource utilization pattern in export commodities‘producing segment, transformation of international market competition pattern to expand the international market share behind the curve. choices of the transformation of Xinjiang‘s pattern of foreign trade promoting national income were limited obviously.Third, the measure of the transformation of Xinjiang‘s foreign trade development effects can be described and evaluated by comparion of the optimized degree of transformation of foreign trade development pattern after the changes. Thirdly, from thecomparion of the optimized degree of transformation of international market competition pattern after the changes, the transformation of Xinjiang‘s international market competition pattern has been in a state to adjust to an unpredictable economic environment, But there exist gaps compared with requirement from the accelerated transformation of Xinjiang‘s foreign trade development pattern.Fourthly,from the comparion of the optimized degree of transformation of pattern of foreign trade promoting National incomeafter the changes,there is a positive change in the transformation of Xinjiang‘s pattern of foreign trade promotingnational income.But instability change of regional division, industry division of labor and enterprise division makes the transformation trend of pattern of foreign trade promoting National income is not stable,this reflects the Xinjiang‘s pattern of foreign trade promoting national income has not yet to find out a way of development according to local characteristics of Xinjiang.Fourth, There are several reasons why the transformation of Xinjiang‘s foreign trade development pattern has not yet occurred qualitativly. First, what slow development of new industrialization, lagged urbanization and uncoordinated regional development, low level of the industrial structure and the operation of imbalances the extensive economic development form of Xinjiang have shown is the primary reason that determines the a slowprocess of transformation of the Xinjiang foreign trade development pattern. Secondly, in the concept of foreign trade development, the government see the foreign trade as a method to promote the growth of GDP, and the concept of beingbigger and stronger rather than being professional and stronger of enterprises development is the important reasons why the Xinjiang foreign trade development pattern chang slowly. Thirdly, lack of technological innovation ability and motive also adversely affected the transformation of Xinjiang‘s foreign trade development pattern.Fifth, the transformation of Xinjiang‘s foreign trade development pattern is influenced by various factors from home and abroad, the current factorsplay a positive role in promoting the transformation of Xinjiang‘s foreign trade development pattern including logistics infrastructure quality,capital supply, technology innovation ability, the quality of the labor force, the effect ofoperation of public service platform in foreign trade and market demand from Central Asia and neighboring countries,etc.;but other factors including relocation of global industry,the competition order of foreign trade industry, public security condition has played a negative role.
