BackgroundLiver-Qi stagnation syndrome is one of the basic syndromes of liver diseases ofTradtional Chinese Medicine (TCM). What is the essence of liver-Qi stagnation syndrome is very important for it can help people to understand and therapy or cure this disease better. Although lots of achievements have been done during the past 50 years, we still can't evaluate the essence of liver-Qi stagnation syndrome integrity, more exploration was needed. The emerging of proteomics gave a chance to TCM to study its syndrome deeply. Both the study of proteomics and TCM syndromeintegrity and dynamic, the syndrome-proteomics was generated accordingly. ObjectiveUse the theory of syndrome-proteomics to study the syndrome of TCM; we hopeto found the associated proteins of liver-Qi stagnation syndrome in rat model to knowmore about this syndrome. MethodsRat model of liver-Qi stagnation syndrome were established by chronicconstraint stress method and animals were set as control, each group containted 8 rats. Harvested the serum and liver tissues respectively 3 weeks later. Both serum proteomics and liver tissue proteomics were used in the study. The serum of animal...
