WU Ju - Tong 's Academic Experience And The Study Of Internal And External Factors Affecting Infectious Diseases

In recent years, new and emergent infectious diseases, such as SARS and H1N1 flu, have caused a great attention of the society. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has obvious advantages in the process of treatment and prevention of infectious diseases. But because of various reasons, TCM is not used in the first place when the infectious diseases outbreak, which is one of the main reasons why TCM cannot play a role of advantages in the field of infectious diseases.In order to increase the effect of TCM in clinical treating infectious diseases, we have to do the following three aspects:First, to make fully use of the experience of TCM experts.Second, to understand the influence factors of the new and emergent infectious disease, paying more attention to its role in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, while treating the disease by overall concept.Third, while inheriting and expanding the original theoretical system, create new theories for treatment of new and emergent infectious diseases.Therefore, combining the methods of Data Mining and theory discussion, this paper contained three following aspects.First of all, there are many ways to improve effect of TCM in the area of new and emergent infectious disease, among which the main way is to study clinical experience in ancient TCM books. The main theory of TCM treating the new and emergent infectious diseases is based on the science of Warm Diseases theory, which is established mainly by Wu Jutong, whose academic thoughts still have important reference value today. At present, there are many researches about Wenbingtiaobian, written by Wu Jutong, but less research about Wu Jutong Yi An, and much less research about both books. Therefore, this paper studyed the academic thoughts of Wu Jutong more Systematically by data mining in the treatment of Warm Diease in those two books. The data source of the study came from Wenbingtiaobian and external cases in Wu Jutong Yi An. Using the methods of Data Mining Clustering analysis and Association rules analysis, we got some corresponding relationships between external evil and location of the diseases and so on.Second, we should pay attention to the role of the influence factors of infectious diseases. TCM pays a lot of attention to the overall concept and the experience from data mining cannot be simply applied to every patient. Therefor we should consider the influence factors of infectious diseases from the concept of overall. Natural factors and the patient constitution are the two main factors influencing the spread of the infectious diseases. So this paper also analyzed the role of natural factors and constitution factors in infectious diseases, and found that natural factors plays an important role in the history of theory formation of external causes. Meanwhile, Wu Jutong laying emphasis on the effect of natural factors and constitution factors in the process which should not be underestimated.Third, as to theoretical innovation, we should have an open attitude in the process of modernization of TCM. This paper recognizes the disadvangtage of existing causes theoretical system, reference to the modern medicine, try to classify microorganism by the attributes of Five Phases combining with the modern theory of pathogenic microorganisms.
