| Grain production in Henan Province has always been in the forefront in China,and it has always been known as the granary of the Central Plains,and the proportion of wheat planted in Henan Province is as high as 38% of all crops grown in the province.Henan is also the largest wheat producer in China,accounting for more than a quarter of the total wheat production in the country.As one of the major crops in China,the steady growth of wheat production is of great importance to China’s food security.In addition to land and capital inputs,agricultural science and technology inputs also have a significant impact on wheat production,especially in recent years,the limited growth of wheat planting area,the slow growth of capital inputs,and the increasing cost of wheat production has led to the gradual decline of farmers’ enthusiasm for planting,the use of agricultural science and technology to promote wheat production growth has become particularly important.It is of great strategic importance to measure the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress in Henan wheat industry and to study the factors influencing the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress in Henan wheat industry to improve wheat production and ensure national food security.This paper selects wheat production in Henan Province as the research object,collects the data related to the output of wheat in Henan Province from 2000 to 2021,and uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods by studying a large amount of relevant literature.growth equation,and measured the contribution rate of various factor inputs and the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress in wheat.At the same time,multiple regression analysis was used to study the factors influencing the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress of wheat industry in Henan Province,and finally conclusions were drawn and countermeasures were suggested on how to improve the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress of wheat industry in Henan Province.By measuring the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress of wheat in Henan Province from 2001 to 2021,the results of the study showed that the average contribution rate of capital input was 37.32%,the average contribution rate of labor input was-17.09%,the average contribution rate of land input was 3.36%,and the average contribution rate of scientific and technological input was 76.49%.The contribution rate of science and technology has been stable at more than 60% from 2001 to 2021.The largest contribution to the economic growth of wheat in Henan Province is the investment of capital and the progress of science and technology development.Meanwhile,through multiple regression analysis,it was found that the greatest degree of influence on the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress of wheat industry in Henan Province was labor output,the higher the labor output indicated that with the wide application of science and technology in wheat industry,the productivity of individuals was improved substantially and the higher the contribution rate of science and technology.The next is pesticide use,mechanization and effective irrigation area.The positive effect of disaster rate on the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress is because the disaster area reduces the land use efficiency of wheat industry and reduces the contribution rate of land input,which leads to the increase of the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress.For how to improve the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress,relevant countermeasures are proposed,mainly including increasing the investment in agricultural science and technology research to promote the scientific and technological progress of wheat industry;strengthening agricultural professional and technical training to comprehensively improve the comprehensive literacy of workers;optimizing the agricultural innovation and promotion system to promote the modernization of wheat industry;promoting the construction of rural information network to speed up the flow of agricultural science and technology information;improving the infrastructure of wheat industry construction,and widely apply agricultural science and technology. |
