| In the era of the VUCA,global economic activities are shrouded in a fuzzy and unknown fog,and the sudden outbreak of the COVID-2019 has put the world economy, which was "developing at a high speed",into a state of "emergency brake".In China, the structural imbalances facing the economy and society cannot be ignored. At a critical moment, hundreds of millions of market players in China have played a key role in maintaining supply support, fully demonstrating that breaking through the dilemma requires the development of innovation and entrepreneurship.Innovation and entrepreneurship are one in the same lineage and have the same root, and entrepreneurship is an important manifestation of innovation. However,to achieve sustainable entrepreneurship,it is necessary to find the reasons for the uneven "quality" and low economic efficiency of newly created enterprises.Based on relevant literature and theory, this paper combines entrepreneurs’ social identity perceptions, decision logic and startup performance, introduces policy perceptions as moderating variables, and constructs a model framework of entrepreneurs’ social identity perceptions on startup performance through a questionnaire survey of 239 founders and middle and senior managers of startups, and the results of the empirical analysis are:(1)There is a significant positive effect of entrepreneurs’ social identity perceptions on the performance of start-ups.(2)There is a significant positive mediating role of decision logic in the three dimensions of social identity perceptions oriented to startup performance;(3)There is a positive mediating role of policy perceptions in the causal logic of entrepreneurs’ social identity perceptions and startup performance. Finally, based on the results of the study, four suggestions are proposed from the government and individual perspectives, such as strengthening the identification of the types of entrepreneurs’ social identity, guiding to enhance entrepreneurs’ social identity cognition, grasping their own social identity orientation, and improving policy sensitivity,in order to contribute to the promotion of efficient policy implementation and the development of government-enterprise relations. |
