Investigation And Analysis Of Agricultural Production Status In Handan Jinan New Area

Southern Hebei New District is located in the southern part of the main urban area of Handan City.It is located in the intersection area of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration strategy and the two national strategies of the Central Plains Economic Zone.The northwest of the terrain is mostly hilly area,and the southeast is mostly low plain area.Long-term agricultural cultivation,unique geographical location and regional culture have formed the unique characteristics of agricultural development in the new area of southern Hebei.In this thesis,through the field investigation and visit of the new agricultural management entities in 8 townships and 1 office in Handan Jinan New Area,combined with the questionnaire survey of 293 farmers ’ agricultural production status and the experience of advanced agricultural production models at home and abroad,this thesis clarifies the current situation and main problems of agricultural production in Handan Jinan New Area,and puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.The results of the study are as follows :First,land fragmentation is serious.In terms of land cultivation,the planting area under 10 acres is the most,accounting for 32.42 % of the survey sample;and there are fewer contiguous pieces,mostly scattered small plots.Second,the low level of education of farmers.In terms of the educational level of farmers,the number of people with junior high school and below accounted for 83.96 %.College or above accounted for 4.1 %.The education level is generally low,which brings difficulties to the promotion of new technologies in agricultural production.Third,the utilization of agricultural natural resources and waste is unreasonable.In agricultural production,those who did not use organic fertilizer and only used chemical fertilizer accounted for 73.04 % of the surveyed farmers;in terms of straw treatment,67.24 % of them were directly returned to the field,and only 21.16 % were used as livestock feed,and the utilization rate of straw was low.Farmers ’ complete lack of understanding of ecological circular agriculture accounted for 23.55 %,and only11.60 % of them had a thorough understanding.This is also one of the reasons for the low utilization of agricultural resources.Fourth,the industrial structure of agricultural products is unreasonable.The agricultural products in the new area of southern Hebei are mainly grain crops,and the supply of bulk agricultural products and low-grade agricultural products is more than enough.The production capacity of highly processed high-end agricultural products and green organic agricultural products is weak and the supply is limited.Fifth,the agricultural infrastructure is relatively weak.In terms of farmland irrigation methods,51.54 % of agricultural business entities use irrigation,followed by drip irrigation,accounting for 22.18 %,and sprinkler irrigation,accounting for 19.11 %.Only 3.75 % of business entities choose integrated irrigation of water and fertilizer.The data show that most of the current irrigation methods in the new area of southern Hebei are still traditional irrigation.Sixth,the agricultural social service system is not perfect.In the selection and purchase of seed fertilizer,the number of people recommended by agricultural technology service stations was the largest,accounting for 67.24 %.The rest of the farmers are mostly based on previous experience or reference to other farmers to buy.In terms of sales of agricultural products,59.04 % were directly purchased by intermediaries,19.11 % were directly sold to large growers,and the rest were sold to leading enterprises by orders,e-commerce platforms or sales.Due to the imperfect agricultural socialized service system,the market supply and demand information held by farmers is not balanced,the middlemen have absolute pricing power,and most growers have the experience of default,which directly affects the enthusiasm of agricultural production.In view of the main problems existing in the agricultural production of Handan Jinan New Area,combined with the local terrain differences,it is suggested that land transfer should be promoted and moderate scale management should be carried out;speed up the cultivation of new professional farmers,improve the education level of farmers;explore new planting and breeding models and develop ecological circular agriculture;adjust the structure of agricultural industry,promote the industrialization of agriculture;strengthen the construction of agricultural infrastructure,change the way of planting;improve the agricultural social service system and improve the enthusiasm of agricultural production;in order to increase farmers ’ income and promote the healthy development of agricultural production in Handan Jinan New Area.
