With the continuous progress of China’s industry 4.0 process,society’s demand for flexible manufacturing and flexible production capacity for enterprises rises.Meanwhile,with the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,consumers’ demand for personalized products is also becoming more prosperous.Currently,more and more enterprises are starting to transform to personalized products,but many of them do not get the expected profit growth after the transformation but have many problems because the transformed production model cannot adapt to the new market environment.For this reason,this paper focuses on the research work of the product customization strategy of enterprises.According to the literature analysis,this paper first introduces common product customization strategies such as mass customization and collaborative design and clarifies the similarities and differences of different customization strategies.Then,based on the economic game model,variables such as user effort are introduced into the product customization strategy model to make users become key players in the product value chain,and three product customization strategy models are constructed for the traditional product strategy model(T model),the mass customization strategy model(M model)and the collaborative design customization strategy model(C model)with user participation.Finally,with the help of numerical analysis and simulation experiments,numerical calculations and case simulation experiments are conducted for the above three product customization strategy models(T model,M model,and C model)to give the optimal decisions for maximizing the benefits of enterprises considering product quality and product pricing,and the following research conclusions are obtained.(1)In the strategy of mass product customization,enterprises should strive to improve the quality of high-end products and control the quality of low-end products to form a broad-spectrum and stable product ecology.(2)In the strategy of co-designed product customization,enterprises should actively reduce the delivery time of customized products through the transformation of the production process to improve the flexible production capacity.(3)As the cost factor of enterprises continues to increase,the profit gap between enterprises adopting customization strategy and the traditional standard product model will continue to widen,which will prompt enterprises downstream of the industry chain to generate more motivation for product customization.In conclusion,the research in this paper has theoretical reference value for enterprises to select product customization strategies,especially for users to participate in product customization selection strategies,and has certain practical significance for relevant managers and operators of enterprises to carry out the practical work of applying enterprise product customization strategies.
