Research On The Development Strategy Of CRE’s High-speed Rail Express

In recent years,China railway has further deepened supply-side structural reform of transport,China Railway Express Co.,LTD.(hereinafter referred to as CRE)carries out freight business by utilizing the remaining high-speed rail passenger transport resources.As the sole operating entity of China’s high-speed rail express business,CRE has authorized more than 3,200 of its business offices throughout the country to carry express transport services.Relying on the high-speed rail express business,CRE has entered the express transport market and improved the transport service and operation mode,further strengthening the new development momentum of railway enterprises.China’s ambitious plan to build a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network over the next 15 years and the progress of its implementation are outlined in the blueprint of the National Comprehensive Three-Dimensional Transportation Network Plan,which clearly sets out a series of favorable policy measures,including the development of aviation and high-speed rail.With its fast,safe and punctual features,high-speed rail is well suited to meet the development needs of the high-speed sawmill industry and has a bright future.At the same time,the express field of small pieces and high value-added goods transportation demand is growing year by year,providing a good platform for the development and popularity of high-speed express rail.But at the same time,China’s high-speed express is also facing challenges,how to improve the loading and unloading and transfer efficiency,give full play to the punctual performance of high-speed express;how to use the existing capacity to reduce the input cost of vehicles to maximize profits;how to ensure the safety of the source of passengers and cargo,while improving the quality of transport services,become a problem to be considered in the development of China’s high-speed express.While giving full play to transport capacity,ensuring service quality and optimizing transport cost will improve the competitive position of high-speed rail express in other modes of transport.Therefore,it is very important to explore the strategic development types and implementation strategies of China Railway Express Company in developing high-speed rail express.In this paper,the development strategy and implementation strategy of high-speed railway express business are studied by taking CRE as the research object.Firstly,the paper analyzes the development status of high-speed rail express at home and abroad,and finds out the existing problems in the development of high-speed rail express business of CRE through comparative analysis.Secondly,based on the development status of China’s high-speed rail express business,the paper analyzes 16 key factors of the development strategy of CRE.On this basis,the quantitative analysis model of SWT-AHP is used to determine that CRE should adopt the type of practical development strategy to develop high-speed railway express.The business demand of CRE in the next five years is predicted by using the method of triple exponential smoothing,and it is concluded that the overall demand is on the rise.Finally,all the detailed analysis conclusions and forecast results are combined to formulate and put forward the strategic principles,strategic objectives and strategic choices for CRE to develop high-speed railway express business.
