Under the background of global supply chain remodeling,supply chain ecosystem has become one of the important forces to ensure the high-quality development of enterprises and promote stable economic growth.Under the trend of digitalization,this importance is more prominent,enterprises will build a set of ecosystems to cope with this development trend.Supply chain ecosystem is a kind of value co-creation activity of multilateral cooperation.There are different participants in the value chain,forming a symbiotic interdependence.Under the trend of “digital-real integration”,it has become the most feasible method to build the supply chain ecosystem by virtue of the power of digital platforms.Many leading enterprises have carried out relevant explorations,such as JD’s digital intelligence supply chain system,Haier’s“COSMOPlat” supply chain innovation model,etc.They have made certain achievements in the construction of supply chain ecosystem and made great contributions to the safety and stability of domestic supply chain.However,there are still relatively few successful practices in this area.Most enterprises still face severe internal and external shocks in the process of building a supply chain ecosystem.There are many problems such as high barriers to entry,inconsistent standards,and lack of financial support.Therefore,by summarizing the practical experience of existing enterprises,it is of great value to further explore the practical problem of ‘How to effectively construct the supply chain ecosystem of leading enterprises’ which is beneficial to inspire more enterprises to gradually explore and construct their own supply chain ecosystem,realize safe and stable growth,and also help the high-quality development of economy and society.This paper selecting JD and Haier as typical sample enterprises,using the case study method to analyze the following research contents: Firstly,based on the research method of grounded theory,through the steps of data collection,data coding,concept extraction and core extraction of the case enterprise,the core category of “construction of supply chain ecosystem” is determined.Opportunity expansion ability,resource integration ability and symbiotic relationship are the three main categories of coding results,and 12 categories including opportunity discovery and opportunity identification.Secondly,selecting DEMATEL method,and the 12 categories determined by the grounded theory method are taken as the basic elements of the DEMATEL method.Through the expert scoring method and the influence degree of various factors,the calculation results show that the three factors of user demand,industrial cooperation and financial support have the highest centrality-cause degree,which plays the most important role in the construction of supply chain ecosystem.Thirdly,through the comparison of the two enterprises,this paper puts forward the principles that should be followed in the construction of supply chain ecosystem,and puts forward the matters that should be paid attention to in the construction of JD and Haier supply chain ecosystem according to these principles,as well as the direction of healthy development in the future.The study found that:First,the development process of the supply chain ecosystem dominated by the two enterprises can be divided into three stages: gestation,development and maturity.There are landmark events in each stage to promote the system to the next stage.Second,the two companies have different subject interaction behaviors in the development of their respective supply chain ecosystems.The supply chain ecosystem dominated by JD is mainly affected by factors such as infrastructure construction,consumer demand,and financial support,and promotes the development of the supply chain ecosystem by seeking multi-party cooperation and promoting ecological interaction based on conceptual identity.The supply chain ecosystem dominated by Haier is mainly affected by factors such as production and operation collaboration,consumer demand,and R & D(research and development situation),and promotes the development of the supply chain ecosystem through digital platform interaction and sub-ecological interaction.Thirdly,the most critical influencing factors in the construction process of the supply chain ecosystem led by the two companies are industrial collaboration,user needs,opportunity discovery,and brand symbiosis.The main theoretical significance of this paper is as follows: On the one hand,the supply chain ecosystem of JD and Haier is divided into three stages,and the development process of each stage is analyzed in detail,which makes up for the deficiency that previous studies only focus on a specific stage and cannot form a comprehensive understanding of the construction of supply chain ecosystem.On the other hand,the dynamic capability construction behavior and content characteristics in the evolution of supply chain ecosystem are expounded,which enriches the application field of dynamic capability theory and symbiotic relationship theory.It has the following practical value: It can provide some experience summary for the research object to construct the supply chain ecosystem process;second,it can put forward countermeasures and suggestions on the current practical problems of supply chain ecosystem.The purpose of this paper is to answer the construction of supply chain ecosystem.Through the analysis of the case enterprises,this paper puts forward the summary conclusion and inductive suggestions for the construction of supply chain ecosystem.At the same time,it can also answer the core problem of how to construct supply chain ecosystem for the leading enterprises in related industries.
