The study’s primary goal was to determine what aspects of packaging influence consumers’ perceptions of liquid soap.The visual and informative features of packaging that were investigated were separated into two categories.Size,color,graphics,shape,and material are examples of esthetic factors,because although instructional factors provide the product’s source,production and date of expiry,natural product,governing body,and concern for the environment.Six different hypotheses were designed with the help of existing literature using a quantitative research techniq ue.Each hypothesis included both independent and dependent variables.A multi-item questionnaire was created and distributed via email to 500 respondents.The questionnaire was completed by 413 people.The data was analyzed using the statistical software SPSS.The empirical data analysis results show that all six(6)hypotheses were accepted.Independent variables such as size,color,graphics,information,shape,and material were among the six(6)acceptable hypotheses.The regression analysis revealed six(6)independent variables as elements of packaging characteristics that influcnce consumers’perception in order to answer the research question.In order of importance,these elements were information,size,color,graphics,material,and shape.Again,the study found that size is the most appealing visual element of packaging characteristics that influences consumers’perceptions of liquid soap.Furthermore,the study found that the manufacture/expiry date is the most important informational element of packaging characteristics that influences consumers’ perceptions of liquid soap.Clearly,these findings are related to previous research in the same field.According to the majority of available lierature in this field,color,shape,size,graphics,and information attract consumers’ attention depending on the context and culture in which the research was conducted.
