| Since the reform and opening up,the vigorous economic development has boosted the expansion of the logistics market scale and expanded the logistics demand. However, its operation mode with high energy consumption and low efficiency not only fails to meet the development under the new normal, but also causes a series of problems to energy and environment. The extensive production mode of traditional logistics runs counter to the green and sustainable development concept of low-carbon logistics. The Yangtze River Economic Belt straddles three regions of China,East and west, with remarkable development advantages and important strategic position. How to integrate "green" into the whole process of logistics operation and promote the harmonious development of low-carbon logistics has gradually become the focus of public attention. This paper took the energy efficiency of logistics industry along the Yangtze River Economic belt as the research object and systematically studied it,in order to achieve rich theoretical results of energy efficiency evaluation of logistics industry, and provide solutions and relevant useful reference for low carbon green development of logistics industry along the Yangtze River economic belt and other regions of our country.Based on the research of other scholars in this field, this paper firstly summarized related theories of energy efficiency and logistics efficiency, and introduced the development status of energy consumption and carbon emission of logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Secondly, based on the definition of total factor energy efficiency, combined with the non-expected SBM model and the global reference Malmquist index, the logistics energy efficiency was measured from static and dynamic dimensions, and the differences of logistics energy efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt were analyzed from regional and inter-provincial perspectives. Then, based on the spatial autocorrelation model,Arc Map10.7 software was used to visualize the spatial pattern and agglomeration effect of energy efficiency. Finally, the Tobit regression model was constructed to explore the contribution of each influencing factor to the energy efficiency of the logistics industry, and policy suggestions were put forward based on the actual development situation. The results show that:(1)the development of logistics industry is not balanced among provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The energy consumption structure is dominated by oil.Energy consumption and carbon emissions increase year by year, and the intensity of energy consumption and carbon emissions cannot meet the current development scale of the logistics industry.(2)The energy efficiency level of the logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is low and decreases slightly at an average annual rate of 1.3%.The scale efficiency is greater than the pure technical efficiency, and the technical progress index is greater than the technical efficiency index.Improving the pure technical efficiency and improving the logistics management level are the key to improving the energy efficiency of the logistics industry.(3)The energy efficiency of the logistics industry in the upper, middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River presents a "ladder" distribution, and the efficiency value is low and extremely unbalanced. The low pure technical efficiency and technical efficiency index are the main internal factors that inhibit the low-carbon development of the logistics industry in provinces and cities.(4)The spatial pattern of energy efficiency changed from "high in the east and low in the west" to "bipolar" distribution, and the imbalance increased; The energy efficiency of logistics industry in each province has a significant positive correlation agglomeration effect in space.(5)Economic development level, technological progress, energy utilization rate and location conditions have significant positive promoting effects on energy efficiency improvement. The degree of opening-up is negatively correlated with energy efficiency of logistics industry, while environmental regulation and government intervention are not correlated with energy efficiency.Figure [16] Table [17] Reference [111]... |
