In recent years,with the improvement of China’s economic level and the acceleration of the development process of the insurance industry,the current extensive operation management and excessive pursuit of premium scale and neglect of service quality marketing mode of life insurance companies have been exposed.Relying on the rapid development of the mobile Internet and the all-round popularization of modern insurance technologies such as big data,cloud computing,artificial intelligence,blockchain,and the Internet of Things,the insurance industry has gradually transformed into a technology-enabled industry,and the development of the insurance industry can be described as both opportunities and challenges.Through the relevant literature and insurtech application case studies of insurtech application,personal insurance business development,and the actual situation of life insurance insurance company,this paper elaborates the concepts of insurtech,life insurance personal agent,and the theoretical foundations such as consumer demand theory,long-tail theory,and innovation-driven theory.Based on the introduction of the basic situation and development history of A life insurance company,the development status of personal insurance business of A life insurance company is analyzed from four aspects: business scale,channel agent,product insurance type and marketing model,and the application of insurance technology of A life insurance company is understood by using on-site interviews,and the problems existing in the development of personal insurance business of A life insurance company are understood in the form of questionnaire surveys,and it is concluded that there is a single customer acquisition channel in the development of personal insurance business of A life insurance company.problems such as insufficient consumer demand satisfaction and online service experience to be improved,and analysis of the deep-seated causes of problems;Under the background of insurance technology,the PEST analysis method was used to comprehensively analyze the overall situation of the development of China’s insurance industry.On this basis,the Porter’s five forces model analysis method was used to analyze the meso environment of personal insurance business.The SWOT analysis method was used to analyze the micro-environment of personal insurance business development of Life Insurance Company A.Based on the above environmental analysis of the personal insurance business of Life A Life Insurance Company,the necessity of technology empowerment is put forward,and the enabling impact of insurtechnology on the development of personal insurance business of Life A Life Insurance Company is explained from the three aspects of sales management,product design and customer service,and the countermeasures for the development of personal insurance business are proposed,and the safeguard measures required for the implementation of these measures are matched.The research content of this paper can provide important practical reference value for other similar life insurance companies.
