Research On The Impact Of Platformization On Entrepreneurial Performance Of Small And Medium-sized Manufacturing Enterprises

With the rapid development of digital economy and Internet,how to obtain and utilize data resources has become an important issue for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises to deal with market competition.Many small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises empower themselves with the help of existing digital platforms,gain competitive advantages and promote the development of innovation and entrepreneurship.Platformization has become a strategic choice for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises to adapt to the digital economy and improve their performance.However,enterprises will face many uncertainties in the practice of platformization.How to ensure the smooth progress of platformization strategy and improve their entrepreneurial performance is a realistic problem that operators need to consider.How the platformization of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises affects entrepreneurial performance and how to control the influence of internal uncertainty on entrepreneurial performance are also questions that academic circles need to answer.In order to explore the mechanism of platformization on entrepreneurial performance,this thesis examines the impact of platformization on the entrepreneurial performance of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises and introduces internal control quality as a moderating variable under the guidance of internal control theory of value.This thesis builds a theoretical framework of platformization,internal control quality,and entrepreneurial performance on the basis of discussing resource-based theory,internal control value theory,and value chain theory.It also reviews research results of platformization,internal control quality and entrepreneurial performance.The research hypothesis is presented in light of this.Through literature review,this thesis divides the platform into two dimensions:breadth and depth of platform,defines its connotation and builds evaluation indexes,determines evaluation indexes of internal control quality,and establishes evaluation indices after dividing entrepreneurial performance into two dimensions:profitability performance and growth performance.This thesis collects the relevant data of 217 listed companies in small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises,and through processing and analyzing the collected data.The main findings are as follows:(1)Platformization provides resources and information for smes,and both the breadth and depth of platformization positively affect entrepreneurial performance.(2)The effectiveness of internal control also lessens the uncertainty in the platform process.Platformization and entrepreneurial performance have a favorable link that is positively moderated by internal control quality.Small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses focus on enhancing the standard of internal control in the use of platforms,which is beneficial to the profitability and expansion of businesses.The findings not only enrich the performance management theory of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in the digital age,but also provide them with management suggestions to adapt to the development of digital platform economy.
