| Entrepreneurial burnout is a continuous and negative entrepreneurial emotion experienced by entrepreneurs in the process of starting a business,involving emotional changes such as emotional exhaustion,cognitive decline,and weakened motivation of entrepreneurs,which will hinder the growth of enterprises and even crush entrepreneurial enterprises.At present,the form of entrepreneurship in China is not optimistic,especially under the impact of the new crown epidemic,the complexity and uncertainty of entrepreneurial activities have increased.Entrepreneurs face many difficulties and are under greater pressure than other groups.Sustained energy consumption may prompt entrepreneurs to develop entrepreneurial burnout feelings,which in turn reduce entrepreneurial motivation,which has even become a key factor leading to entrepreneurial failure.Scholars have done preliminary research and discussion on the connotation of entrepreneurial burnout,but there is still a lack of in-depth research on the impact mechanism and inhibition mechanism of entrepreneurial burnout,and this paper will comprehensively discuss entrepreneurial burnout from the perspective of reality,which has important guiding significance for enriching entrepreneurial theory and entrepreneurial practice.Based on the theory of entrepreneurial emotion,this paper uses the case study method to demonstrate the authenticity and feasibility of the conceptual structure of entrepreneurial burnout;the existing scale is adapted based on the interview content,and its measurement accuracy and practicality are verified through empirical analysis;This paper explores the impact of entrepreneurial burnout on the performance of new ventures,studies the mediating role of entrepreneurial persistence behavior,and analyzes the moderating role of entrepreneurial resilience.The results show that entrepreneurial burnout inhibits entrepreneurial persistence behavior and new venture performance,entrepreneurial persistence behavior has a significant mediating role between entrepreneurial burnout and new venture performance,and entrepreneurial resilience can effectively alleviate the negative impact of entrepreneurial burnout.The influence and moderating mechanism of entrepreneurial burnout.This paper extends the theory of burnout to the field of entrepreneurship,enriches the research framework of entrepreneurial emotion,provides new ideas and directions for entrepreneurial research,and lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent research related to entrepreneurial burnout.The main innovation points are as follows:(1)the use of case analysis and research to enrich the conceptual dimension of entrepreneurial burnout,the construction of the entrepreneurial burnout measurement scale,laying a theoretical foundation for the follow-up research on entrepreneurial burnout;(2)based on the research logic of "emotion-behavior-performance" discusses the impact mechanism of entrepreneurial burnout on the performance of new start-ups,reveals the link between entrepreneurial persistence behavior in alleviating entrepreneurial burnout and improving the innovation performance of new start-ups,introduces entrepreneurial resilience variables,and explores the mitigation methods of entrepreneurial burnout.It proposes a path for the transformation of entrepreneurial burnout into entrepreneurial passion,provides support for entrepreneurs to further effectively carry out entrepreneurial activities,and provides guidance and reference for relevant entrepreneurial practices. |
