Since the 1990 s,with the continuous progress of economic globalization,small and medium-sized enterprises in China have continuously introduced innovations and comprehensive business models.With the rapid development of the industrial economy,more and more small and medium-sized enterprises are emerging in the economy and society.In the current economic environment,especially in recent years,the global economy has recovered slowly and fragile,and the international economic and trade landscape has changed significantly,leading to increasing risks in global industrial and supply chains.In addition,SMEs affected by COVID-19 are exposed to various risks in the operational process,including market risk,credit risk,technical risk,strategic risk,etc.If these risks are not managed effectively,they will bring enormous losses or even bankruptcy for the company.Compared to large enterprises,small and medium-sized enterprises have a large gap in size,capital,technology and management experience and therefore require more practical risk management strategies and measures.Therefore,research on risk management of small and medium-sized enterprises also has an important theoretical significance,which can provide scientific,reasonable and practical risk management methods and technologies for small and medium-sized enterprises.Small and medium-sized enterprises are an important part of a country’s economic development and play an important role in promoting employment,creating wealth and strengthening international competitiveness.Therefore,the study of risk management for small and medium-sized enterprises also has an important theoretical significance,which can provide scientific,reasonable and practical risk management methods and technologies for small and medium-sized enterprises.The paper takes SY Company as a research object,analyzes and examines the current situation of risk management in small and medium-sized enterprises and seeks strategies to improve risk management that are compatible with the actual situation of small and medium-sized enterprises.This article selects the latest "Integration of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Strategy and Performance",which COSO published in 2017 as a research tool and basis.First,the background and theoretical development of the ERM is presented and then a detailed introduction to the most important business situations and risk management operational mechanisms of SY is given.Subsequently,an evaluation model for the company-wide comprehensive risk management system was created on the basis of the ERM2017 Framework.
