The agro-processing industry is an essential part of the rural revitalization strategy for the flourishing of industries.It is not only linked to industry and agriculture,the city and the countryside,but is also the industry closest to the "three rural areas" and the closest to the people,and has great potential for development.Hubei Province belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone,abundant sunshine,heat,precipitation,fertile soil,convenient transportation,so that the agricultural products processing industry has a unique advantage of development.At present,Hubei Province is striving to build a strong agricultural industry province,around the ten key agricultural industry chain to strengthen the chain,complement the chain,at this time the agricultural products processing industry in the context of strengthening the county economy and the province’s high-quality development,can significantly contribute to the development of the regional economy of Hubei Province."Finance is the core of the modern economy",and the development of the agro-processing industry requires the assistance of financial capital,the assistance of financial policies and the assistance of emerging financial services,so as to fully exploit the development potential of processing industry and realize the development of industrial integration.Therefore,to explore whether there is a significant link between financial support and the development of the agro-processing industry,how to effectively optimize the financial support strategy and improve the financial support system,In turn,it provides substantive evidence and recommendations for the development of the agro-processing industry,the practical implications of which are self-evident.Based on financial theory,rural financial market theory,agro-processing sector cluster theory and financial support theory,this paper explores the mechanism of the role of agro-processing sector cluster on economic influence;analyzes the logic between the background of rural revitalization and the development of agro-processing sector;focuses on theoretically analyzing the mechanism of the role of financial support for the development of agro-processing sector in Hubei Province.Empirically,in order to better study the relationship between financial assistance and agro-processing sector in Hubei Province,this article chooses the group data of 16 prefecture-level cities in Hubei Province from 2012-2022,and conducts trend statistics and correlation analysis on various indicators in them,as well as visualizes the impact of financial support on agricultural products processing industry in Hubei Province through graphs and other forms,and finally constructs a fixed-effect model Finally,a fixed-effects model was constructed to explore this issue in more depth.The conclusions of the study include: Firstly,the operation of agro-processing sector in Hubei Province is stable and improving,and the structure and layout are continuously optimized.Second,financial assistance for the development of agroprocessing industry in Hubei Province has a single structure.Third Financial assistance has significantly promoted the output value of the processing industry in Hubei Province.Fourth financial assistance to the development of the agro-processing sector in Hubei Province has regional differences.Finally,the policy recommendations for financial assistance to the development of agro-processing industry are proposed:improve the agricultural insurance regime,develop policy finance,strengthen the credit system of agricultural business entities,adopt regionalized and differential policies,and improve the level of new financial services.
