An Empirical Study On The Influence Of Leisure Agriculture On Farmers’ Income In Nanyang City

With the acceleration of urbanization and the improvement of people’s living standards,more and more people begin to yearn for the peaceful rural environment and travel to rural areas during holidays.Under such market background,the leisure agricultural economy of Chinese cities has achieved better development.In fact,the healthy development of leisure agriculture can not only promote rural revitalization,but also effectively improve the level of rural economic development.In 2022,the No.1Central document has proposed to focus on the development of rural industries,implement the rural leisure tourism promotion plan,and actively cultivate advantageous characteristic industrial clusters.In recent years,Nanyang City,the case city investigated in this paper,is focusing on the development of leisure agriculture.Based on the "Nanyang Urban Ecological Agriculture Planning" as the theoretical basis,the spatial layout of "three circles,four belts and ten districts" has been determined,which provides support for Nanyang to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation and implement the strategy of rural revitalization.However,comparing the development of leisure agriculture between Nanyang City and surrounding cities,there is still room for improvement in the development scale and level of leisure agriculture in Nanyang City,and more efforts should be made to improve the income level of farmers.Under the guidance of sustainable development theory,multifunctional agriculture theory and urban rest belt theory,this paper firstly adopts literature research method and field research method to analyze the development status of leisure agriculture in Nanyang City,and then uses entropy weight method and baseline regression analysis method of empirical analysis method to explore the impact of leisure agriculture on farmers’ income in Nanyang City.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which expounds the research background,research significance and research status at home and abroad.It also introduces the research content,research methods and the innovation and shortcomings of this paper.The second part is related concepts and theoretical basis.It expounds the concepts of leisure agriculture and farmers’ income,and puts forward the theory of sustainable development,multifunctional agriculture and urban rest belt,which provides sufficient theoretical basis for the empirical model below.The third part is the analysis of the development of leisure agriculture and farmers’ income in Nanyang City.This part includes the analysis of the development of leisure agriculture in Nanyang City and the analysis of farmers’ income.The analysis of the development status of leisure agriculture in Nanyang City includes the general situation of Nanyang City,the main body of leisure agriculture development,the development course of leisure agriculture,the basic conditions of leisure agriculture development,the development form of leisure agriculture,the main development mode of leisure agriculture,and the comprehensive benefits of leisure agriculture development.The overview analysis of Nanyang farmer’s income includes the scale of Nanyang farmer’s income,the structure of Nanyang farmer’s income and the characteristics of Nanyang farmer’s income.The fourth part is the empirical research.Entropy weight method is used to assign the weights of indicators of the development level of leisure agriculture,and then the empirical model is constructed,and the baseline regression analysis and robustness analysis are done to obtain the final empirical results.The fifth part is the conclusion and suggestions,through the analysis of how to develop leisure agriculture conclusions,combined with the actual situation of leisure agriculture in Nanyang city,put forward the government,agricultural enterprises,farmers should take the development measures and countermeasures.Based on the empirical results,this paper draws the relevant conclusion that the development of leisure agriculture in Nanyang City is in the basic realization stage,the income level of farmers is also increasing year by year,and the development of leisure agriculture has a positive impact on the income of farmers.The suggestions and countermeasures include implementing the concept of eco-economic cycle development,strengthening the cultivation of farmers,promoting the deep integration of industries,constructing the agricultural tracking and evaluation system,and improving the scientific and technological level of modern agriculture.
