Research On The Integration And Development Of Rural Industries In Jianghan Plain Through Technological Innovation

The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that "the most arduous task of building a socialist modernization country in an all-round way is still in the countryside." Therefore,promoting agricultural and rural modernization has become one of the most important contents of building a socialist modernization country in an all-around way.Since the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy,scientific and technological innovation has been placed at the core of national development,which is the first driving force to lead agricultural modernization.The Central Rural Work Conference proposed that we rely on the double-wheel drive of technology and reform to speed up the construction of a rich agricultural country and develop that situation where science and technology must support all rural revitalization.As the main battlefield of rural revitalization,Jianghan Plain is a vital commodity grain production base in China,which should take on a new look under the development of the new era.The integrated development of rural primary,secondary and tertiary industries is a critical path to promote the revitalization of rural industries and the construction of beautiful villages and is an essential part of the Party Central Committee’s "rural revitalization" work deployment.In this context,it is significant to study the technological innovation driving the industrial integration of Jianghan Plain.In order to explore the mechanism and practical effect of scientific and technological innovation on rural industrial integration,this paper conducts comprehensive research on the development of industrial integration driven by scientific and technological innovation in Jianghan Plain according to the idea of "theoretical analysis-current situation description-empirical research-policy optimization".This paper includes three parts and six chapters.The first part includes chapter I,chapter II and chapter III,which describe the relevant research background and significance,summarize the relevant research status of scientific and technological innovation and rural industrial integration at home and abroad,and illustrate some theories,such as the technology penetration theory,scientific and technological innovation theory,agricultural multi-functional theory and industrial integration theory.Moreover,it analyzes the mechanism from the theoretical and practical levels.It is concluded that scientific and technological innovation can drive the integrated development of rural industries in many ways and put forward relevant research assumptions.The second part is chapter IV,which objectively evaluates the level of technological innovation and industrial integration in Jianghan Plain,and summarizes the existing problems at this stage.Based on the above research,the third part,including chapter Ⅴ and chapter Ⅵ,establishes the evaluation index system of scientific and technological innovation and rural industrial integration in Jianghan Plain,using the entropy method to measure the level of scientific and technological innovation and the development level of industrial integration in Jianghan Plain,and makes corresponding analysis and summary.Then part three builds a model of scientific and technological innovation and rural industrial integration in Jianghan Plain to empirically verify whether scientific and technological innovation will drive rural industrial integration.The results show that scientific and technological innovation positively affects rural industrial integration.Among them,scientific and technological innovation has promoted the extension of the agricultural industry chain,the play of agricultural multi-function and the increase of farmers’ income and employment.However,it has no significant impact on urban-rural integration.Finally,relevant suggestions are put forward from(the aspects of)strengthening scientific and technological regulation,strengthening agricultural multi-functional development,improving public service platforms and multi-channel talent cultivation.
