In recent years,the rapid development of information technologies such as the Internet,big data and cloud computing has promoted the rapid development of China’s digital economy.Digital technology is also rapidly penetrating into China’s industrial field,and industrial digital transformation has become imperative.The Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important strategic development region in China,and it also has unique advantages in the development of digital economy.The high-quality development of digital economy in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is not only related to the new driving force of its own development and the problem of regional coordinated development,but also related to the realization of high-quality economic development in China.This thesis takes the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the research object,selects the index data from 2013 to 2020,and studies the regional differences and influencing factors of its industrial digitalization development.Firstly,according to the definition of industrial digitalization and related research,this thesis selects 24 indicators from the four dimensions of agricultural digitalization,industrial digitalization,service digitalization and related infrastructure to construct the evaluation index system of industrial digitalization development level,and uses the entropy method to power,and calculates the industrial digitalization development level of each province and city in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.From the measurement results,the industrial digitalization development level of all provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt shows an increasing trend year by year,but there are differences in the industrial digitalization development level among regions,showing an obvious distribution trend of higher in the east and lower in the west.Secondly,the kernel density estimation method and Dagum Gini coefficient method are used to analyze the imbalance and regional difference of industrial digitalization development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The results show that the industrial digitalization development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has obvious unbalanced characteristics,and there is a phenomenon of two-level differentiation.According to the decomposition results,the overall Gini coefficient of industrial digitalization development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has decreased year by year,and the regional difference has gradually narrowed,but the regional difference is still obvious.In terms of intraregional differences,the upstream region has the largest difference,followed by the downstream region and the middle region.From the perspective of inter-regional differences,the largest difference is between the upstream and downstream,followed by the downstream and middle reaches,and the upstream and middle reaches are the smallest;In terms of the sources of overall regional variation,interregional variation is the main source.Finally,the geographical detection model is used to analyze the influencing factors of industrial digitalization development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The results of factor detection show that economic development level,government intervention,human capital,invention patent application,scientific and technological development level and infrastructure construction are the core influencing factors of industrial digital development level in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The results of interaction detection show that the influence of each interaction factor is enhanced.Therefore,according to the results obtained,this thesis puts forward the following countermeasures: Firstly,all regions should actively promote the construction of new digital infrastructure,create a good hardware environment,and take the first step of industrial digital transformation;Secondly,we should give full play to the endowment advantages of each region,develop advantageous industries according to local conditions,and narrow regional differences.Thirdly,we should give full play to the role of the government and improve,implement and support policies,laws and regulations as well as financial input.Fourthly,we should pay attention to the cultivation of talents and cultivate new digital professionals in line with the national strategic requirements and market needs.Fifthly,we should attach importance to scientific and technological innovation,strengthen,encourage and guide it,and raise the level of scientific and technological development.
