VIP customers are an important part of the customer group of commercial banks.They create higher customer value for commercial banks and are important resources for banks to compete.The impact of VIP customer churn on banks cannot be underestimated.Identifying potential lost VIP customers in advance and taking targeted retention measures to prevent the loss of VIP customers play a vital role in improving the competitiveness and economic benefits of banks.This paper studies the prediction of customer churn in XX commercial bank.Firstly,it analyzes the theory and common methods of customer churn prediction.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of the loss of VIP customers in XX commercial bank and the characteristics of the loss of VIP customers.In terms of various characteristics,there are certain differences between the lost customers and the normal VIP customers in terms of product coverage,contribution value,transaction frequency,financial fund redemption and so on.The subsequent construction of prediction indicators provides a certain reference.Third,build a prediction model of VIP Customer Churn Based on lightgbm model,and use genetic algorithm to optimize parameters.Fourth,build the index system to predict the loss of VIP customers.Build a customer churn prediction index system including basic customer information,product information,account information,transaction and other dimensions.Fifth,collect the sample data of VIP customers of XX commercial bank,empirically verify the effectiveness of the model,and compare it with common models.In the test set samples,lightgbm has a better effect than other models.In the case of cross validation with 10% discount,lightgbm model still has a better effect on customer churn prediction.By analyzing the impact of different indicators on customer churn prediction,customers’ monthly AUM,financial assets,deposit scale change rate,redemption times of wealth management funds and daily business frequency change rate are of great importance to predict customer churn.Finally,it puts forward suggestions to improve the management of VIP customer churn in commercial banks,mainly improving the prediction method of VIP customer churn and strengthening the integration of customer information.The research of this paper helps to improve the research on the prediction method of VIP customer loss in commercial banks,and is conducive to commercial banks to strengthen the management of VIP customer loss. |
