With the continuous development of China’s local enterprises and the deepening of the internationalization process,more and more local enterprises enter the international market,and the behavior of combining beneficence and authority of leaders with typical oriental characteristics is becoming more and more common in the international human resource management of enterprises.Therefore,how to encourage workers to perform better under this leadership style has become a problem that relevant enterprises have to consider.Energy at work is an emerging field at present,and few scholars have studied how relational energy plays a role in the impact of leadership’s behavior of combining beneficence and authority on employees’ job performance.Therefore,based on the theory of social exchange,this paper introduces relational energy as an mediator variable to explore the impact mechanism of leadership’s combined behavior of beneficence and authority on employee performance,and considers the moderate role of leader-member exchange between leadership’s combined behavior of beneficence and authority and employee relational energy.This paper conducted a questionnaire survey on 325 employees from multiple industries.After data screening,263 valid questionnaires were finally obtained.Based on this,an empirical study was carried out to explore the impact mechanism of leaders’ combined behavior of beneficence and authority on employee performance.In the introduction,the research background and methods of this paper are introduced.In the second part,the relevant literature of the research variables in this paper is reviewed.The third part,the research hypothesis are put forward based on social exchange theory.The fourth part analyzes the collected data and carries out screening.The fifth part uses SPSS26.0 and AMOS226.0 to analyze the questionnaire data.Finally,according to the empirical test results,the research conclusions are drawn.In addition,it also summarizes the research deficiencies and future prospects of this paper.The results show that the behavior of combining beneficence and authority of leaders can improve employees’ job performance,and the relational energy plays an mediator role in it,but the leader-member exchange does not play an obvious moderate role.This paper summarizes the possible reasons for this result.This study further enriched the influence mechanism of leaders’ behavior of combining beneficence and authority on employees’ job performance,and enriched the related research of relational energy.In addition,it puts forward some useful suggestions on how leaders can promote the improvement of employees’ work performance when related enterprises conduct transnational management. |
