Research On The Transformation And Upgrading’s Performance Of DMEGC

China is a large rare earth country,and its rare earth output has always ranked first in the world.Since the founding of new China,with the continuous advancement of globalization,the continuous progress of science and technology and the wave of rapid development of China’s manufacturing industry,China’s material industry,especially the rare earth permanent magnet industry,has always been strongly supported by national policies in order to become a new world related industrial center.Under the macro background of modernization and globalization of China’s rare earth permanent magnet industry,many permanent magnet industry enterprises actively carry out transformation and upgrading by taking advantage of this reform east wind.The success of transformation and upgrading of these enterprises not only determines the position of China’s permanent magnet industry in the world economy,but also affects the development of China’s national economy.Therefore,the research on the transformation and upgrading of permanent magnet industry and its performance has important reference value and significance for enterprises in the same industry or other enterprises in the process of transformation and upgrading.This paper takes DMEGC as the research object and adopts the research method of case analysis to study the performance of the company’s transformation and upgrading.Firstly,the related background of rare earth permanent magnet industry and the research status of transformation and upgrading are introduced;Secondly,it defines the concepts related to transformation and upgrading and enterprise performance,and expounds the theoretical basis of principal-agent,stakeholders and value chain;Next,it introduces the background of DMEGC’s transformation and upgrading,and analyzes its motivation and path of transformation and upgrading;This paper focuses on the comparative analysis of financial performance,economic value-added analysis and innovation performance before and after the transformation and upgrading of DMEGC,so as to evaluate the effect and problems of its transformation and upgrading;Finally,the research conclusions and targeted suggestions are put forward.The main conclusion of this paper is that the transformation and upgrading of DMEGC has made some progress in optimizing production capacity,enhancing energy business investments and integration strategy,but its financial performance has not been significantly improved after transformation and upgrading,lack of sustainable and stable development model,lack of innovation awareness and investment.This paper puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of optimizing cash flow management,improving asset management efficiency,increasing innovation investment.
