| Affected by the COVID-19,the normal and orderly work of the enterprise has been disrupted.Anxiety and torture have challenged the physical and mental health of many employees to varying degrees,inevitably resulting in a reduction in job happiness and work engagement.Employee work happiness is an important standard for effectively measuring the level of organizational health,especially in the current uncertain situation of the epidemic.Only by mastering this new type of leadership behavior can employees’ work happiness be effectively improved and work engagement be ensured.Summarizing existing achievements,external contextual factors,individual internal factors,and the interaction between internal and external factors can all affect work engagement.Among them,individual intrinsic factors are the most important source of motivation for work engagement.Empirical research on the role of employee trait mindfulness as an individual intrinsic characteristic on work engagement is still lacking.However,how to use work happiness to improve enterprise work engagement has always been a hot topic in the field of management research.At the same time,leadership style is widely recognized as an important influencing factor in the academic community,and work engagement has been validated by various leadership types.Different leadership styles have different mechanisms and degrees of impact.Quantum theory has developed a novel and scientific leadership style.When placing enterprise management in uncertain situations,quantum leadership is considered a unique and positive leadership style,which has become a hot topic of discussion in the current academic community.Empowerment,innovation,and interaction are the main characteristics of quantum leadership.There is more research on empirical outcome variables at the psychological level of employees,but less detailed implementation at the behavioral level.In view of this,this article is based on the IAA theory,social exchange theory,extension construction theory of positive emotions,and social cognition theory.The focus is on the study of the impact of employee trait mindfulness on work engagement,selecting work happiness as the mediating variable and quantum leadership as the moderating variable,to further explore the mechanism of action between employee trait mindfulness and work engagement.The study used empirical analysis methods,with employees in the company as the survey subjects,and analyzed the data through SPSS24.0 and AMOS26.0 to verify the research hypothesis.The research concludes that employee trait mindfulness has a significant positive impact on work engagement,and trait mindfulness as an individual trait can effectively improve employees’ level of work engagement;Employee trait mindfulness positively affects work happiness;Work happiness plays a partial mediating role between employee trait mindfulness and work engagement.Trait mindfulness endows employees with self-regulation ability and high-quality attention,which is beneficial for improving work happiness.Work happiness can provide strong internal support for work engagement,ultimately improving the level of work engagement;Quantum leadership positively regulates the relationship between employee trait mindfulness and work happiness.This study is conducive to explaining the mechanism by which employee trait mindfulness affects work engagement,as well as the boundary conditions that play a role in this mechanism.It provides theoretical support and practical reference for enterprises to enhance employee work engagement in management practices by cultivating employee trait mindfulness,work happiness,and quantum leadership. |
