| In recent years, the triple pressure of domestic economic development and the uncertainty of the international environment have greatly tested a country’s economic resilience. In this context, the 14 th Five Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People’s Republic of China and the Outline of Long Range Goals for 2035 propose to vigorously develop the digital economy. The digital economy can break through the original path of economic development and increasingly become the main driving force for economic growth and an important trend for future national economic development. From a domestic and international perspective, the impact of the digital economy on economic development is reflected in its impact on GDP.According to the “China Digital Economy Development Report(2022)”,the scale of China’s digital economy reached 45.5 trillion yuan in 2021,accounting for 39.8% of GDP;On the other hand,it manifests as the reshaping of the global economic structure.According to the “Global Digital Economy White Paper(2022)”,in 2021,the global5 G network population coverage rate was 26.59%,and the added value of the digital economy in 47 countries worldwide was 38.1 trillion US dollars, accounting for 45.0%of GDP.The digital economy has gradually become an important component of the economies of various countries. Therefore, further clarifying the impact of the digital economy on economic resilience is of great significance for effectively leveraging the role of the digital economy in economic growth and further promoting stable and sustainable economic development. The main content and analytical approach of this article are as follows: firstly,by summarizing and drawing on relevant theories and literature research, this article defines the connotation of the digital economy and economic resilience.Combining the path dependence theory of economic growth, the adaptive cycle theory of economic system evolution, and the relevant diversity theory of economic agglomeration, this article theoretically analyzes the mechanism of the impact of the digital economy on economic resilience.Secondly, based on the conceptual framework of the digital economy,a comprehensive evaluation index system for the development of the digital economy was constructed, and the NBI method was used for index calculation.Based on the connotation of adaptive cycle theory and evolutionary resilience,a comprehensive evaluation index system for the level of economic resilience was constructed, and the entropy method was used for index calculation.Based on the index calculation results of the digital economy and economic resilience,Conduct a spatiotemporal and multi-dimensional analysis of the current development level and economic resilience level of China’s digital economy.Thirdly, spatial autocorrelation analysis and social network analysis methods are used to analyze the spatial correlation structure between the digital economy and economic resilience levels. Then, spatial econometric methods are used to analyze the impact of the digital economy on economic resilience.Fourthly, based on the impact of the digital economy on economic resilience, propose countermeasures and suggestions to enhance economic resilience through the development of the digital economy. The main conclusions of this study include: firstly, there is a significant spatial autocorrelation between the digital economy and economic resilience.Through social network analysis,it was found that the spatial correlation structure between the digital economy and economic resilience is similar.Secondly,in terms of the spatial impact of the digital economy on economic resilience, the spatial impact of the digital economy on the level of economic resilience is significantly positive.According to the connotation of the digital economy, the level of the digital economy is divided into three components: digital elements, digital carriers, and digital industries, and their effects are decomposed.Among them, the indirect and total effects of the digital economy on economic resilience are significant, the indirect effects of digital elements on economic resilience are significant, and the direct and total effects of the digital industry on economic resilience are significant.Thirdly, there are regional differences in the impact of the digital economy on economic resilience.Specifically, the spatial spillover effect of economic resilience in the central region is strong, while the spatial spillover effect of economic resilience in the eastern and western regions is not significant. In terms of the impact of digital economy on economic resilience, the development of digital economy in the eastern and central regions can drive the improvement of local economic resilience, while the indirect impact of digital economy development on economic resilience in the western region is more significant.Fourthly, the digital economy can influence regional economic resilience by influencing economic vulnerability, economic connectivity, development potential, and resilience.Specifically, the digital economy can reduce economic vulnerability, strengthen economic connections in surrounding areas, enhance the development potential and resilience of the region, and promote an increase in regional economic resilience.Fifth, the spatial spillover effect of the digital economy on economic resilience conforms to the first law of geography, and there is a “boundary shielding effect”.The main innovative points of this article include: firstly,it provides a relatively comprehensive analytical framework for the study of the impact of the digital economy on economic resilience.Starting from the connotation of digital economy and economic resilience, based on the path dependence theory of economic growth, the adaptive cycle theory of economic system evolution, and the relevant diversity theory of economic agglomeration, the main core components of economic resilience are economic vulnerability, economic correlation, development potential, and resilience, further revealing the mechanism of the role of digital economy in economic resilience.Secondly, the indicator system of digital economy and economic resilience constructed in this article can better reflect the connotation of digital economy and economic resilience.Based on the adaptive cycle theory and the research on the connotation of digital economy and economic resilience, relevant indicators are selected based on the basic principles of scientificity, comprehensiveness, comparability, and measurability. The constructed indicator system can accurately and comprehensively reflect the level of regional digital economy and economic resilience.Thirdly, this article adopts various empirical analysis methods to prove the spatial effect between the digital economy and economic resilience, and uses the spatial Durbin model to analyze the relationship between the two.The rationality of the model selection was demonstrated through econometric testing and the replacement of indicators and spatial weight matrix, and the empirical results were also relatively robust. Finally, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were provided based on the results of empirical analysis. |
