Identification And Change Of Path Pattern Of Urban Land Intensive Use

The intensive use of urban land is of special importance,which is the basic requirement of the transformation of economic development mode,the strategic choice of new urbanization,and the important way of sustainable development.At home and abroad,attention is paid to the intensive use of urban land.Our country makes many efforts in promoting the intensive use of urban land,and establishes the most strict intensive land system.However,in the practice of urban land intensive use in China,the inefficient expansion of urban land and other non-intensive land use forms are still widespread,causing many urban problems.The appropriate and sustainable intensive use of urban land is still an important concern in practice and an urgent pursuit in reality.In the theoretical research of urban land intensive use,scholars mostly use multi-index evaluation to study the phenomenon results and measures of urban land intensive use,but the path,path pattern(path combination relationship)and its changes are less studied.In this context,this paper carries out research,aiming to establish a research framework on the path pattern of urban land intensive use.Firstly,the analysis of the path,urban land use has two kinds of extensive and intensive,and urban land intensive use has two kinds of priority intensive and comprehensive intensive.Secondly,the path pattern is analyzed,which refers to the combination of different proportions of different paths.According to the contribution proportion of extensive path and intensive path in land use,the land use dominated by intensive path is called intensive land use path pattern.The so-called intensive urban land use refers to the intensive urban land use path pattern.Furthermore,according to the contribution proportion of priority intensive path and comprehensive intensive path in land intensive use,the urban land intensive use path pattern is divided into priority intensive type and comprehensive intensive type.In the research process,based on the input-output principle and the production function principle of Cochran Grass,this paper mainly adopts growth accounting method,contribution analysis method,individual-time double fixed effect model analysis method and Ridge regression analysis method.This paper investigates the path pattern identification and dynamic changes of urban land intensive use in the five major urban agglomerations from 2000 to 2020(dynamic analysis was conducted at a five-year research stage).The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:First,at the discrimination level of path pattern of urban land intensive use,the conclusions about urban land intensive use were drawn: from the discriminant results of the five major urban agglomerations in our country,the intensity of urban land use fluctuated and increased,and the land use path patterns were intensive in the various years.From the discriminant results of each urban agglomeration,the increase of urban land output was more likely to depend on the increase of urban land productivity.From the discriminant results of each metropolitan area,the intensity of urban land use presents a wave-like change.The level of urban land use intensification in the metropolitan area within five major agglomerations in our country is not stable,which is greatly affected by the periodic fluctuations of urban land output and the change of the regulation policy of urban land input.Second,at the decomposition level of path pattern of urban land intensive use,the conclusions about urban land comprehensive intensive use were drawn: from the decomposition results of the intensive urban agglomerations in our country,the level of the comprehensive intensive use of urban land is not stable,and the counter-cyclical policies for the supply of production factors of urban land have increased the volatility.Although the overall performance of comprehensive intensive use of urban land is satisfactory,the excavation degree of urban land comprehensive intensive use power needs to be improved.From the decomposition results of each intensive urban agglomeration,the Pearl River Delta Urban Agglomerations and Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomerations perform well,the Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomerations perform moderately,the Agglomerations in the Middle of Yangtze River perform second poorly,and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomerations perform worst.From the decomposition results of each intensive metropolitan area,the metropolitan area is divided into two categories according to the different trends of the comprehensive intensive degree of urban land use at the time node.One is that the counter-cyclical urban land related production factors supply policies of metropolitan area intensified the volatility of the comprehensive intensive degree of urban land use.The other kind of metropolitan area adapted to the cyclical urban land related production factors supply policies ironed out the fluctuation of the comprehensive intensive degree of urban land use to a certain extent and steadily promoted the comprehensive intensive level of urban land use.Third,it summarizes two types of dynamic change of path patterns of urban land intensive use in the cities of five major urban agglomerations,including wave intensification type and whole process intensification type,and decomposes the dynamic change of the two path patterns.Based on the above conclusions,this paper advocates the transformation of path pattern from extensive to intensive and upgrading from priority intensive to comprehensive intensive.Based on the various dynamic change of the path pattern of urban land intensive use,the paper finds the commonalities and puts forward corresponding policy suggestions for the transformation and upgrading of the path pattern.The discussion mainly starts from the following aspects: In terms of the transformation from extensive type to intensive type,the first is to strictly control the extensive expansion of urban land,the second is to promote the improvement of urban land use efficiency.In upgrading from priority intensive type to comprehensive intensive type,firstly,excessive intensive input of single factor of urban land should be controlled,and secondly,the potential of total factor productivity of urban land should be tapped.
