| The Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee proposed that innovation is at the core in the construction of Chinese modern industrial system,and enterprises are the important subjects in the construction of Chinese innovation system.However,under the background of increasing environmental uncertainty and dynamics,the closed innovation model relying solely on internal experience and knowledge of enterprises is difficult to support enterprises to cope with environmental changes through innovation.More and more enterprises expand the knowledge base of enterprise innovation through external knowledge search,and realize innovation faster and better,especially for scientific and technological enterprises.Under the trend of open innovation,academia has carried out a lot of research on external knowledge search,but the existing research focuses mainly on the external knowledge search of mature large enterprises,less on entrepreneurial situations.And in terms of the objects of external knowledge search,mainly focuses on technical knowledge.For a large number of high-tech start-up enterprises,the main challenge facing their innovation is to find applications and markets for the advanced technologies owned by the enterprises,but the existing research on external knowledge search basically ignores the search of market knowledge.Based on the above research deficiencies,this thesistakes the technology-based enterprises as the research object to explore the impact of external technology and market knowledge search on enterprise product innovation and the adjustment mechanism of situational factors,which has certain theoretical contribution and important practical guiding significance.Based on the knowledge-based view and the open innovation theory,this thesisconstructs the theoretical model of this thesis through the research and combing of relevant literature.Firstly,the external knowledge search is subdivided into two dimensions of technology and market,and its impact on product innovation is analyzed.On this basis,the moderating role of forward-looking and reactive market orientation and the impact of entrepreneurial environment on the above-mentioned roles are explored.The empirical results show that:(1)both external technology knowledge search and external market knowledge search can promote product innovation;(2)the reactive market orientation weakens the promotion of external technological knowledge search on product innovation and enhances the promotion of external market knowledge search on product innovation;(3)Compared with mature enterprises,the promotion effect of external technological knowledge search on product innovation of enterprises under entrepreneurial scenario is enhanced,while the promotion effect of external market knowledge search on product innovation is weakened.Under the background of open innovation theory,this thesis focuses on the knowledge search characteristics of product innovation activities of technology-based enterprises,distinguishes the differences between external technology search and external market knowledge search on the impact of enterprise product innovation,and further considers the situational mechanism of the relationship between market orientation and entrepreneurial environment on technology,market knowledge search and product innovation,which provides a reference for enterprises in the entrepreneurial stage to choose knowledge search strategies and actions.This thesis expands the existing research on knowledge search behaviors and strategies of enterprises,and provides valuable management inspiration for the product innovation of Chinese scientific and technological enterprises,especially those with entrepreneurial environment.It is beneficial for Chinese enterprises to realize knowledge reorganization through different types of knowledge search behavior combinations more efficiently,and to promote enterprises to realize product innovation faster and better. |
