Bank outlets are the main channels for commercial banks to serve customers and play an important role in the operation of commercial banks.In the increasingly fierce homogenization competition,the transformation of banking outlets has become the focus of cost reduction and efficiency increase.Especially when the comprehensive capacity of traditional offline outlets cannot adapt to the complex and changing market demand,how to improve business efficiency,improve service management level and meet customer needs at more levels with advanced technical means has become the main development strategy of the banking industry at this stage.The construction of intelligent outlets came into being under such a background.The construction goal of this type of outlets is to achieve intelligent functions,comprehensive business channels,personalized business content,and accurate customer service.As a necessary means of operation and management of intelligent outlets,internal control should also adapt to the transformation characteristics of intelligent outlets,and simultaneously achieve intelligence and standardization.Based on the above research background and the theoretical basis of internal control,risk management and corporate governance,this paper focuses on the internal control of smart outlets of Bank Z,explores the problems in the operation and management of internal control of smart outlets of banks at this stage,and puts forward suggestions for improvement.First of all,through several field visits and interviews,the article introduces the current situation of domestic financial technology development and the characteristics of the intelligent development and transformation of domestic commercial bank outlets from the perspective of the overall development of the industry.The article combs the basic situation of the internal control system after the intelligent development of the research outlets.Secondly,using the analytic hierarchy process to compare the effectiveness of the internal control operation of intelligent outlets and non-intelligent outlets,it is concluded that the internal control operation of intelligent outlets of Bank Z is relatively effective.Thirdly,based on the comparative evaluation of the effectiveness of the internal control operation,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the specific implementation of the internal control of Bank Z’s intelligent outlets to further explore the problems in the internal control management of Bank Z’s intelligent outlets.The main problems include: the internal environment is disconnected from the operation and management,the risk assessment cannot support the control activities,the intelligent scope of the control activities is limited,the internal control information transmission channel is not smooth,and the role of the supervision function is single.Finally,in view of these problems,the specific content of risk management contained therein is reclassified according to the five elements of internal control,and specific suggestions for optimizing internal control management are put forward around the strategy and operation of commercial banks’ intelligent outlets:first,building the internal environment according to local conditions;Second,broaden the scope and improve risk assessment;Third,conduct control activities before risk assessment;Fourth,strengthen information communication through vertical linkage;Fifth,intelligent evaluation plays a supervisory role.In this way,the internal control can play a greater role in the operation of the bank outlets,help the bank outlets achieve the established operational objectives and maximize the value.
