With the reform and opening up,China’s market economy has developed rapidly,and the scale of private enterprises has gradually expanded and stepped into the center of the national economy.With the continuous progress of globalization,the demand for international talents in various domestic industries has increased significantly,and the overseas education industry has also been running all the way against this background.Under the overall situation of unprecedented changes in a century,the external business environment faced by various industries is also undergoing tremendous changes.In particular,the changes in the current economic situation have made the business environment of enterprises more and more complex,and the risks and challenges they face are becoming more and more diversified.The development of the overseas education industry is also due to its strict requirements and the background of "double reduction" policy in 2021.The development pressure is increasing day by day.Under the circumstance that the external environment cannot be changed,more and more business operators begin to attach importance to the management and improvement of internal control level,and take corresponding control measures to achieve the expected operation and management objectives.However,the implementation of internal control is not easy.During this period,it will be hindered by various external and internal factors,which makes the role of internal control work unable to be fully played.S Group is a leading company in the industry.After nearly 30 years of development,its main businesses include overseas study planning,language training,teacher training,pre-school education,youth literacy improvement,study tours,pre-service education,overseas investment and other fields.As a cross-field group company,the improvement of the internal control system and the implementation of internal control activities are directly related to the realization of the group’s strategic objectives.In view of this,this paper first confirms the current research status through the existing literature and theoretical research,and then takes S Group and its branches as the research object,through questionnaires,case analysis and other methods,combining with the development characteristics of the current overseas education industry,analyzes the current situation and problems of internal control of S Group according to the internal control theory,especially the five elements of internal control.The specific content of the text is based on the five elements of internal control,referring to the ideas of finding,analyzing and solving problems.From the perspective of control environment,enterprises currently have problems in the allocation of responsibilities and rights,human resources,corporate culture and other aspects.In the aspect of risk assessment,we mainly analyze the deficiencies in two aspects: goal setting and risk identification training.The control activity dimension mainly discusses the problems existing in authorization approval,performance evaluation and information processing.The information and communication level mainly focuses on the management information system and internal communication mechanism.Finally,it discusses the issue of internal supervision from the perspective of independent and continuous supervision activities and the specific performance of important matters of supervision.At the end of the paper,we put forward relatively feasible optimization countermeasures from these five aspects.These problems are representative in the development of internal control in private enterprises.This paper hopes that the research can provide some ideas for more similar enterprises to solve internal control problems,and also promote the long-term healthy development of enterprises. |
