The transformation of wealth management of securities firms has a history of more than ten years in China.However,there is no clear answer to how to transform and what model to transform into,so the early research is focused on the transformation path,marketing strategy and strategic planning.Now a series of new market trends,such as housing and housing not speculation,new regulations on asset management,and pilot fund investment advisers,bring new opportunities for the wealth management industry.After years of development,securities brokerage wealth management transformation also has a new market consensus.In terms of business model,it is considered to be the best development path to transform the product-centered seller model to the customer-centered resource integration buyer model.As a bridge between institutions and clients,the investment advisory business plays a pivotal role.Therefore,this paper selects the investment advisory business model of C securities company as the research object.C Securities Company is the first sino-foreign joint venture investment bank in China,and its organizational structure and development path are somewhat representative.After absorbing and merging the CIC Securities,the wealth management business developed rapidly.According to its own resource endowment,it adopts the comprehensive service business model to carry out the investment advisory business,and on this basis,it explores the construction of the buyer’s investment advisory product system.Its investment advisory business model has certain representatives and reference significance.On the basis of collecting,inquiring and sorting out a large amount of data,combined with the current market environment,for the current situation of investment advisory business is analyzed.Through the research of relevant domestic and foreign literature and the development path of leading wealth management institutions,the three main modes of investment advisory business are summarized,and the characteristics of their business models are analyzed respectively.Combined with the development process and business status of C Securities Company,the problems existing in the existing investment advisory business model are analyzed through comprehensive analysis of comparative analysis,macro analysis and competitive environment analysis,which are summarized into four aspects: customer base,product service,internal coordination and channel construction.Combined with the commercial canvas theory,the relevant elements are logically classified,and some suggestions are put forward to optimize the investment advisory business model of C securities company from the four dimensions of customer operation,profitability,core business and channel construction.On this basis,safeguard measures are proposed in three aspects: organizational structure,human resources and digital transformation.The application value of this paper lies in the systematic review of the development process and characteristics of the investment advisory model,as well as the factors that should be considered in the model selection of wealth management institutions with different resource endowments.Based on the actual business development of C Securities Company,the problems existing in the actual operation of the investment advisory business model are analyzed,and the optimization suggestions are put forward.It is expected to provide reference for the development of investment advisory business model,and provide reference for the business development of similar institutions in the market.
