Research On Express Packaging Recycling Strategy Based On Differential Pricing

With the increasingly serious environmental pollution and the rapid development of the express delivery industry,people are paying more and more attention to the recycling and remanufacturing of waste express packaging.The effective recycling of waste express packaging can bring multiple benefits.Therefore,how to improve the recycling rate of waste express packaging and promote manufacturers to engage in remanufacturing activities has become one of the urgent problems to be solved.This thesis studies two different situations in which the government subsidizes packaging manufacturers and recyclers(express companies and third-party recycling centers).The choice of manufacturers for two different recycling strategies(non-differentially priced recycling strategy and differentially priced recycling strategy)is discussed.By establishing a game model,the profit and recycling rate of each of members under different circumstances are compared,so as to provide reasonable suggestions for the decision-making of packaging manufacturers and the government.Using reverse induction to solve the model,the conclusions are as follows:(1)When the government subsidizes the packaging manufacturers,the manufacturers can improve their own profits through the differential pricing recycling strategy.A higher coefficient of difference set by manufacturers can simultaneously improve the profits of express delivery companies,the third-party recycling centers and the recycling rate.The formulation of the specific difference coefficient is related to the recovery transfer price,the recycling price,the retail price sensitivity coefficient,the cost savings of remanufacturing,and the difficulty of recovery.(2)When the government subsidizes packaging recyclers,packaging manufacturers can also improve their own profits through differential pricing recycling strategies.Under the same conditions,there is no suitable coefficient of difference to improve the profit of each member of the supply chain and the recycling rate of waste express packaging.The optimal recycling strategy for packaging manufacturers is the non-differentially pricing recycling strategy.(3)Both the government subsidy situations can promote the improvement of the recycling rate and the profit of packaging manufacturers.Under the same subsidy amount,in order to improve the system recovery rate,the government should give subsidies to packaging recyclers.The government can comprehensively consider the recycling rate and the profit of packaging manufacturers to formulate the amount of subsidies,so as to better use the subsidies.
