The world has undergone major changes unseen in a century and the epidemic of the century is intertwined.Economic globalization has encountered headwinds,and the international environment is complicated.At the same time,the pressure of domestic economic transformation still exists.Under this situation,my country proposes to build a new development pattern with the domestic cycle as the main body and the domestic and international dual cycles promoting each other.The construction of the new development pattern creates important opportunities for the development of import trade by exploring and utilizing the scale advantages of the domestic market based on the domestic market demand.To give full play to the positive role of domestic market size in promoting the diversification of imported product structure,the perspective should be focused on the dimensions of domestic market size leading to independent innovation of enterprises,and promoting trade facilitation and trade liberalization.This paper integrates domestic market size,independent innovation,trade facilitation and liberalization into the unified analysis framework of imported product structure diversification from the perspective of combining dynamic and static,time and space,in order to clarify the effect of domestic market size on imported product structure diversification.On the basis of the theoretical mechanism,this paper empirically studies the role relationship and internal mechanism of domestic market size on the diversification of imported product structure at the transnational level.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:First,from the national level,domestic market size will significantly promote the diversification of imported product structure;secondly,through empirical analysis such as replacing core explanatory variables,explained variables and considering spatial interaction effects,it is found that domestic market size promotes imported products.The conclusion of structural diversification is stable;thirdly,from the test of the threshold effect of the market system,the promotion effect of the domestic market size on the structural diversification of imported products will present an inverted U-shaped trend with the improvement of the market system environment;Fourth,from the perspective of heterogeneity analysis,there are significant geographical differences between the domestic market size and the diversification of imported product structure.That is,for coastal countries,the domestic market size significantly promotes the diversification of imported product structure.In other words,the size of the domestic market cannot significantly promote the diversification of imported product mix.However,there are no significant differences in the level of national development and language between the size of the domestic market and the diversification of the imported product structure;Finally,the size of the domestic market will promote the diversification of the structure of imported products by promoting independent innovation of enterprises,and promoting trade facilitation and trade liberalization.The research conclusions of this paper not only enrich the theoretical research on the domestic market size and the diversification of imported product structure and make up for the deficiencies of relevant empirical analysis,but also provide policy inspiration and suggestions on how to take advantage of the scale of the domestic market,promote the high-quality development of foreign trade,and shape a high-level opening-up pattern. |
