Research On The Design Of Apple Income Insurance Products In Yuncheng, Shanxi Province

In recent years,in order to improve the stability of agricultural planting in the country and protect the income of farmers,a series of policy-based agricultural insurance has been gradually carried out nationwide,among which income insurance,as an emerging agricultural insurance,has been piloted for different crops in many regions of China.In 2022,the Central Document No.1 proposed that planting income insurance will be fully covered in the three major grain-producing provinces,and the important role of income insurance in the field of agricultural production has been paid more and more attention.As a characteristic crop in Yuncheng area,apples have always occupied an important position in local fruit cultivation,becoming one of the main pillar industries in the local area and one of the important sources of income for farmers in Yuncheng area.However,the frequency of natural disasters has led to long-term precarious incomes for apple farmers,and "fruit and farmers" have also occurred.At present,in the Yuncheng area,the development of agricultural insurance is mainly concentrated on grain crops,about the local characteristic fruit apples currently only some counties have carried out "insurance + futures",fruit low temperature meteorological index insurance,price index insurance pilot projects,the proportion of insured apple planting area is not high enough,the degree of protection is still at a low level,Yuncheng apple industry urgently needs to introduce more innovative insurance products to achieve healthy and stable development.This paper designs income insurance products for the local apple industry and calculates the corresponding pure premium rates under different protection levels.Firstly,with the help of SWOT model,the current situation of Yuncheng apple industry is sorted out,and the mu production risk is analyzed from the perspectives of natural risk and scientific and technological level,and the price risk is analyzed from the three directions of policy,cost and market,so as to determine the necessity of apple income insurance in Yuncheng area.Subsequently,according to the actual situation of Yuncheng Apple,the income insurance product was designed,and the insurance subject,insurance period,insurance liability,insurance amount,premium,and insurance compensation method were stipulated;Then,the production and price data of Yuncheng apple mu were processed,and the pure premium rate under different protection levels was calculated by using the hybrid Copula function: the rate was 15.03% at the 100%protection level and 13.53% at the 90% protection level.Finally,it concludes that the Apple income insurance rate in Yuncheng area is high,and suggestions are made from multiple angles for Apple income insurance in Yuncheng area,so as to provide reference for the income insurance work in Yuncheng area.
