Mergers and acquisitions,as one of the main ways for enterprises to expand rapidly,are widely used in perfectly competitive markets.Since 2009,the transaction volume of China’s M&A market has continued to grow.According to statistics,there were 7,313 m&a transactions of domestic enterprises in 2020,with a year-on-year increase of more than 10%.At the same time,the total amount of M&A exceeded 700 billion USD,reaching 744.8 billion USD,accounting for about 15%of the global transaction volume.Domestic enterprises are increasingly active in the global M&A market.The increasingly severe industrial upgrading and market competition is an important incentive to promote m&a,which is further heated up under the macro policy and institutional framework of advocating regional economic integration internally and promoting development externally.It is of great significance for enterprises to enhance market competitiveness,smooth technical barriers,improve market share and expand development ideas through M&A transactions.However,in practice,single M&A is not common,but more frequent or frequent M&A.The motivation and performance of continuous m&a are worth further exploration.This article selects diverse medical group,take Humanwell Healthcare Co.,Ltd as an example,to analysis enterprise m&a background and reason first,and then through the screening of enterprises during the past a series of merger and acquisition activity,analyzes,from the hands of case enterprise m&a performance insight into continuous m&a events impact on enterprise performance.In this paper,the research on m&a performance focuses on short-term and long-term Windows,relying on domestic and foreign research concepts,using event research method,financial index method,factor analysis and other methods to carry out multi-dimensional analysis,and finally draw a conclusion.During the period of continuous M&A,enterprises continue to accumulate m&a experience.Although the performance of some M&A activities is not good,the overall business fundamentals have not changed substantially.After continuous MERGERS and acquisitions,enterprises appropriately adjust their business strategies and focus on core segments.The process and experience of mergers and acquisitions can provide some enlightenment for enterprises in the same industry to carry out continuous mergers and acquisitions.
