| In recent years,to meet customer’s diversifying demands more effectively and increase their international competitiveness rapidly,Multi-national corporations have laid stress on supply chain management grounded in the concept of overall flow.With the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic,global supply chains were hit hard.In the post-epidemic era,how to optimize the management of multinational companies through supply chain management,strengthen supply chain concentration to enhance competitiveness has become a hot topic.Therefore,it is of theoretical and practical significance to explore the impact of supply chain concentration on the operating performance of multinational corporations.Therefore,this thesis researches on 1300 Multi-national listed corporations in Ashare market during the years of 2008 to 2021,which provide a total of 6,573 sample observations.This thesis has two proxy variables for study of concentration degree of supply: the concentration degree of suppliers and clients.Through descriptive statistics,correlation test,and multivariate regression analysis,etc.,the thesis studies the influences of concentration degree of supply on the performance of Multi-national corporations,and uses the quality of internal control as regulating variable for moderating effect analysis.Furthermore,it conducts tests for heterogeneity according to the property rights of state-owned enterprises and non-state-owned enterprises.In the end,the thesis carries out two methods of robustness tests through one-period lagged core explanatory variable and substitution explained variable,and verifies the robustness of its empirical results.Finally,the thesis draws the conclusions:(1)The concentration degree of suppliers has significant positive effects on the performance of corporations;(2)The concentration degree of clients has significant positive effects on the performance of corporations.Corporations should establish new corporation relations with clients,timely share information with them,attach importance to personalized needs of their major clients,and strengthen their technological innovation;(3)For non-state-owned enterprises,the concentration degrees of suppliers and clients have more significant positive effects on their corporate performance.Hence,state-owned enterprises need to deepen their reform to enhance their competitiveness;(4)As Multi-national corporations have better quality of internal control,the concentration degree of supply has more significant positive effects on their corporate performance.Corporations should actively optimize their organizational structure and business process to fully exploit the advantages of supply chain subjects. |
