Faced with the vision of being among the world’s leading enterprises,the goal of high-quality corporate development and the use of information technology and intelligence,multi-faceted challenges are placed before the enterprise.How to break the current development dilemma,transform and upgrade the company,maintain competitiveness and sustainable development has become a top priority for companies.Lean production,which is dedicated to eliminating all waste and strictly controlling all production processes,meets today’s market demand with its multi-variety and small-lot characteristics,and meets the production requirements of enterprises with its waste elimination and cost reduction characteristics.Whether the implementation of lean production can affect enterprise productivity is what this article seeks to explore.This thesis compares the domestic and international literature to clarify the meaning of lean production through the elaboration of lean thinking and lean production.By elaborating on enterprise productivity,it lays the groundwork for the use of total factor productivity as a measure of enterprise productivity later in the thesis.By means of a list,the characteristics of lean production are listed against each other in comparison with traditional production methods to deepen the understanding of the connotations of lean production.The theoretical basis for the impact of lean production on firm productivity is analyzed by selecting three important factors of firm productivity,namely labour,capital and management,one by one.Hypotheses are formulated and empirical analysis is carried out with data from listed companies.The multiplicative estimation method and propensity score matching method are used to process the sample,construct the model,regression analysis and verify the robustness,which leads to the conclusion that the implementation of lean production in a firm helps to improve the productivity of the firm.At the end of the thesis,four recommendations are also made:establish a lean production organizational system to lead the deployment of the work,sort out the company’s current situation to clarify the direction of improvement,increase the implementation control of lean production to continuously promote it,and consolidate the foundation of lean production to implement continuous improvement,which are four recommendations for companies to refer to when implementing lean production.In order to enhance the productivity level of the enterprise,and to help the high-quality development of the enterprise.In addition,the research results of this thesis,in the topic of lean production and enterprise productivity,broaden the research,enrich the findings and lay the foundation for future research. |
