Private equity investment is the product of the combination of financial innovation and industrial innovation,and plays an important role in social and economic development and progress.Private equity has only recently emerged in China,but it has shown strong influence and dynamism.As a source of funds for private equity funds,the National Guiding Fund is one of the major players in the development of the private equity industry.However,with the development of the private equity fund industry and the gradual maturity of the private equity fund group,the contradiction between the guiding function of the state-guided fund and market requirements as one of the participants has gradually emerged,and the roles and investment strategies faced by the fund have also become become more complicated.The role of funds and investment strategies have become issues that need to be addressed.In recent years,provinces and cities across the country have issued guidance policies for private equity investment to encourage and vigorously develop industrial guidance funds to promote the vigorous development of private equity investment locally.How big is unknown,this article answers this practical question by studying the relationship between private equity investment and government guidance funds;,we can introduce or formulate differentiated or more reasonable guidance policies,so as to achieve efficient use of industrial funds or local financial funds:the research on the correlation between private equity investment and government guidance funds can provide some suggestions for the development of local private equity,such as Private equity investment is indeed highly positively correlated with guiding funds,so private equity institutions can achieve their own development by setting up more guiding funds or cooperating with relevant guiding funds.The empirical research of this paper shows that the government-guided fund has a significant role in promoting the quantity of private equity investment in the region and the development quality of private equity investment in the region.In addition,through the heterogeneity analysis,it is found that the target scale of government guidance funds in the eastern,central,western and northeastern regions can all promote the growth and improvement of the quantity and quality of their private equity investments.Both the quantity of investment and the quality of development have a significant boost.
