The arrival of the data era has brought many opportunities to enterprises.Many enterprises have developed rapidly,and many enterprises are difficult to transform,resulting in the phenomenon of standing still.In this era of rapid economic changes at any time,how retail enterprises need to adjust their internal deployment becomes the key.In the past scholars’ research,the reason points to the leaders and employees of the enterprise,both of which play a vital role in the success of the enterprise.Will employees’ work input,psychological capital,management style of leaders,and identification with the organization affect their own work input?In view of this,this thesis analyzes psychological capital as an intermediary variable and organizational identity as an adjusting variable,and deeply studies the direct relationship between leadership style,employee engagement,organizational identity and psychological capital,so as to provide theoretical basis for retail enterprises to improve the level of employee engagement.Firstly,this thesis will understand the concept,dimension division and relevant research of variables through consulting relevant literature,laying the foundation for the subsequent questionnaire design and laying the groundwork for the formation of assumptions.The designed questionnaire was distributed to employees in the retail industry,and a total of 633 valid data were collected.SPSS software was used to conduct correlation analysis and regression analysis on the data to verify whether transformational leadership style and transactional leadership style would affect employees’ work engagement,and explore the role of organizational identity and psychological capital in it.On the one hand,define the boundaries of transformational leadership style and transactional leadership style,and on the other hand,provide reference for future retail enterprises to select appropriate leaders and train employees.The final results show that:(1)transformational leadership style and transactional leadership style positively affect employees’ work engagement in the retail industry;(2)The psychological capital of employees has a positive impact on their work input;(3)Both transformational leadership style and transactional leadership style positively affect employees’ psychological capital;(4)Psychological capital is a bridge between transactional leadership and work input,and the intermediary role of psychological capital between transformational leadership and work input is also established;(5)Organizational identity plays an important role in the adjustment between transactional leadership and work input;Similarly,organizational identity will also regulate the work input under the transformational leadership,and the regulatory role is also established,which is a positive regulatory role.According to the research conclusion of this thesis,it is proposed that retail enterprises need to cultivate management with transformational and transactional leadership style,and also need to promote the increase of employees’ psychological capital intensity and enhance their sense of identity with the organization,so as to make employees work harder and promote the rapid development of retail industry.
