With the continuous innovation of new information technologies such as artificial intelligence,blockchain,cloud computing,and big data,the digital economy has become a new engine of economic growth,and digital transformation has become an important way and strategic choice for enterprises to adapt to the digital economy wave and achieve high-quality innovative development.Innovation-driven is essentially talent-driven,and the most important,core,and fundamental aspect of technological innovation is scientific and technological talent.Digital transformation endows enterprises with great new momentum for innovation,essentially empowering scientific and technological talent to achieve innovation,increasing the employment choices for scientific and technological talent,and helping to improve the efficiency of scientific and technological talent innovation.Therefore,studying the impact of digital transformation on scientific and technological talent innovation in enterprises not only provides feasible paths for high-quality innovative development of enterprises,but also provides new directions for the future employment choices and innovative realization of scientific and technological talent.This research mainly explores the impact and improvement path of digital transformation on the innovation of scientific and technological talents in enterprises.Through a comprehensive analysis of existing research results at home and abroad,and by collecting data and information related to enterprise digital transformation,the number of scientific and technological talents in enterprises,and scientific and technological talent innovation,this paper conducts in-depth research using a combination of textual and empirical analysis methods.Firstly,based on digital policy documents,digital transformation feature words are extracted and text analysis is conducted on the annual reports of listed companies to obtain the frequency of digital transformation feature words,and then the degree of digital transformation of listed companies is obtained by using the entropy weighting method.Secondly,a panel fixed-effect model is constructed,and a quasi-experimental study is conducted using the double difference method with multiple time points to empirically analyze the impact of the degree of digital transformation on the number of scientific and technological talents and innovation efficiency in enterprises.Finally,path analysis is used to empirically test the path of digital transformation in improving scientific and technological talent innovation efficiency in enterprises.The conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The development of digital transformation of listed companies in China has been improving during the investigation period,and the future is expected to be good,but it is still in the early stage of transformation.(2)Digital transformation significantly increases the demand for scientific and technological talents of enterprises,and at the same time reduces the phenomenon of internal employee redundancy.(3)The digital transformation of enterprises will significantly improve the innovation efficiency of scientific and technological talents,especially for state-owned enterprises and specialized and new enterprises.(4)The path test shows that,on the one hand,the technological level of an enterprise can effectively regulate the positive impact of the enterprise’s digital transformation on the innovation efficiency of scientific and technological talents.On the other hand,the digital transformation of enterprises allocates labor by optimizing the personnel structure,that is,increasing the number of scientific and technological talents in the enterprise and reducing the redundancy phenomenon of the enterprise,so as to improve the innovation efficiency of scientific and technological talents.
