Abstract/Summary:
The North China Plain is an important agricultural production base in China, and with the rapid development of modern agriculture, the connection between agriculture in various regions has been strengthened. So this paper analyzes the mechanism and spatial effect of planting production factors on planting output in cities of North China Plain. This article conducts in-depth analysis from three aspects:the current situation, spatial distribution characteristics, and spatial spillover effects of planting output and its influencing factors.Firstly, based on the data of 58 cities in the North China Plain from 2010 to 2020,the development situation and spatial distribution characteristics of planting production and influencing factors in cities of North China Plain were preliminarily analyzed.Secondly, the geographical distance matrix, economic distance matrix and economic geographical combination matrix are introduced as the spatial weight matrix.Through LM test,LR test and Hausman test, the two-way fixed effect spatial Durbin model is selected and compared with the benchmark regression model.Deeply explore the influence and spatial effects of agricultural machinery power, effective irrigation area, agricultural plastic film, pesticide, agricultural labor force, and agricultural financial investment on the total agricultural output value per unit area. Finally, robustness test is carried out for the regression results to ensure the stability of the conclusions. The results show that there is a positive spatial dependence on the output of planting industry among cities in the North China Plain. The total power of agricultural machinery, the effective irrigation rate of farmland, the use of agricultural plastic film, the use of pesticides, agricultural labor and agricultural financial investment all play a positive role in promoting the total agricultural output value,of which the effective irrigation rate of farmland has the most obvious role in promoting the output of planting industry. The use of agricultural plastic films and pesticides has a significant positive spatial spillover effect on the planting output. However, agricultural labor and financial investment have a significant negative spatial spillover effect on the planting output.
