Study On The Interaction Effect Between The Development Of S&T Finance And Industrial Structure Upgrading In China

At present,China is in an important economic transition period in which old and new industries coexist,and the development of science and technology finance has become a new driving force and new support for the upgrading of industrial structure,and the upgrading of industrial structure has provided new guidance and new feedback for the development of science and technology finance,so it is important to realize the coordinated development and mutual promotion of science and technology finance and industrial structure upgrading to jointly promote stable economic development.After literature combing,this thesis analyzes the mutual influence mechanism of science and technology finance development and industrial structure upgrading in multiple dimensions.Firstly,we analyze the promotion mechanism of science and technology finance as a financial instrument and as a technology-economy paradigm to industrial structure upgrading respectively,and then analyze the feedback of industrial structure upgrading to promote the development of science and technology finance through various channels such as expanding capital demand and upgrading financial technology tools.Based on the data of 30 provincial-level administrative regions(excluding Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)in China from 2010 to 2019,the study firstly constructs an evaluation index system for the development of science and technology finance and industrial structure upgrading respectively,and measures the development level of science and technology finance and industrial structure upgrading in each province of China(excluding Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)using the entropy value method;then analyzes the development of the two at the national and provincial levels using the coupled coordination degree model Finally,combining theory and reality,we set up a spatial coupled equation model and use the generalized spatial three-stage least squares(GS3SLS)method to further empirically study the spatial interaction between science and technology finance and industrial structure upgrading.This thesis mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)science and technology finance and industrial structure upgrading overall upward trend,industrial structure upgrading level is higher than the level of science and technology financial development,regional differences are smaller,from the eastern coastal areas to the inland areas gradually decreasing,which is consistent with the situation of China’s current stage of economic development.(2)The development of science and technology finance and industrial structure upgrading are closely related,and the coupling degree of the two is increasing in each province and city,with the eastern region mostly in positive coupling and entering into coordinated development;while the western region is in negative coupling and development disorder,and the central region is slightly better than the west,but the development is still uncoordinated.(3)The development of science and technology finance and industrial structure upgrading both have significant spatial correlation and mutual promotion,in the east and central regions,the economic distance between neighboring provinces and cities industrial structure upgrading can significantly promote the development of science and technology finance in the province,and its science and technology finance development has a significant role in promoting the upgrading of industrial structure in the province,the west has not been able to achieve positive interaction in space.It is recommended to optimize the science and technology financial system to promote industrial structure upgrading;strengthen the clustering of high-tech industries and inter-regional exchanges and cooperation to achieve the coordinated development of science and technology financial development and industrial structure upgrading,realize the mutual promotion of the two,and help economic quality growth.
