The Evaluation Of The Operational Efficiency Of China’s A-share Listed Logistics Enterprises

In 2019,China became the world’s largest e-commerce market,with e-commerce sales of $1.935 trillion,more than three times the second-largest market in the United States at $586.92 billion.The e-commerce sales of our country accounts for 54.7 percent of the global e-commerce market,was twice that the quality of second to fourth place,at the same time,the profit margins of e-commerce have expanded rapidly.The logistics industry,as the foundation of the development of e-commerce,has also flourished in recent years.For China,the industry has entered people’s lives,as one of the important components of China’s national economy,and it can be beneficial on multiple levels.From the micro point of view: the rapid development of them,logistics enterprises can seize the market.From an objective point of view: the development of logistics enterprises makes their service scope expand to meet the needs of consumers.However,at the same time of scale expansion,there will also be a kind of entropy: the operating efficiency of enterprises cannot be well guaranteed,which is the problem studied in this thesis.In order to describe the current research status of logistics enterprise operation efficiency,my thesis firstly combs the brief content of logistics enterprise operation efficiency research at home and abroad.After sorting,according to the existing deficiencies,the object and direction of the research are determined: using the three-stage DEA model to study the operating efficiency of listed logistics enterprises.Secondly,it briefly introduces the professional vocabulary,theories and models needed in the research.29 listed logistics enterprises have made a close choice around the research object and direction;According to the development trend of logistics,the scope of data research is delimited and the indicators from 2018 to 2020 are selected.This thesis adopts the three-stage DEA model to study and analyze the operating efficiency of these 29 logistics enterprises.DEA-BCC model is used to analyze the research indicators of logistics enterprise operation efficiency.The second stage is the step to calculate the input after separating the environmental factors,so as to prepare the data for the next analysis.Specifically,the second stage is completed in two steps: The first step is to use SFA model for regression analysis to find out the relevant parameters of environmental factors;he second step is to calculate the input that is not affected by environmental factors by using the separation formula summarized by predecessors.In the third stage,DEA-BCC model is still selected and is used to analyze the research indicators of logistics enterprise operation efficiency combing the new input factors with the original input factors.Through the comparative study of the first and third stages,the results show that environmental factors have a negative impact on efficiency,especially in 2020.According to the analysis results,I select the Straits shares for further efficiency analysis and evaluation,and make suggestions according to the specific circumstances.Through the research and evaluation of the efficiency of strait shares,the efficiency study is concretely analyzed,and the proposal part is more targeted and feasible.
